- In this video we start the Traxxas Tmaxx 3.3 for the first time! Following the Traxxas break in procedure we break in the engine and tune it for maximum speed! Stay tuned till the end of the video where I give my first impressions of this nitro legend!

What phone holder are you using? Looks handy, it would be cool if traxxas came out with one, since where else would you put it when using the tqi app

Take my advice run VP Nitro fuel , better than Traxxas top fuel, your tmaxx will run smoother and better
Good advice I will definitely try that out, would you suggest staying at 20% or moving up to 30?

It sounds like every time it shifts to 2nd u always let off the throttle and get back in it just let the darn thing eat man and hold it opened up for a little it ain't gonna hurt it.

great video! May have to consider this as my next nitro. I notice you only use the traxxas fuel,how do you like it and have there been any tuning issues with it.
@@favulus1 thanks, Traxxas nitro works great for me, no issues with tuning, the only negative being it’s a little more expensive than other brands.
t maxx 3.3 number one t maxx 3.3 is the king and t maxx classic number one and t maxx classic is the queen and the nitro rustler number one and nitro second king but all nitro rc cars number and they a ll number one and they the all best.

t maxx 3.3 the god and t maxx classic is the god and nitro rustler is the god.
That red swing is for the reverse kit. I’m gonna have to buy a new one. Hobby shop just called me said there’s to many missing parts to repair!! 😢
@@nickystockton9403 yeah unlike the Revo the Tmaxx does not come stock with reverse but yes that red switch is for reverse, from what I’ve heard though the reverse kit causes more trouble than what it’s worth and most people remove it altogether on the Revo, so I’m not too bummed that the Tmaxx does not have reverse, my only complaint is the exhaust pipe on the side, I need to add a extension to aim it out and towards the ground so I don’t dirty up my body all the time, other than that it’s a great nitro!!

Hey bro nice t maxx 3.3! Make sure you cut out a hole in the wind shield for air flow I’ve noticed that my slayer and my rustler,tmaxx always run a little hot and notice from factory there’s no air flow hole after doing it my temps almost always stay under 220
That’s if you ever have temp problems don’t wanna run them over 250
Thanks, yeah I did notice some higher temps when I was tuning it, I didn’t have my temp gun on me, I was going by the Traxxas app which I’m not very confident is all that accurate…. Who knows but I will definitely take that into consideration next run, appreciate you watching brother🤙

Bro you were giving way to much throttle on the first tank
Just bought one from a co worker of mine’s buddy. Gonna be getting it tomorrow (at the time of typing this) got so upgrades and a servo that allows me to tune the engine from the transmitter. Can’t wait to rip it around
How's that working out?
@@CatchandcookMatt great got it running and all. Had to get a new receiver and transmitter as the old one was fried but it runs great
