I just did a detail to my car which is white and at first my wife was like, “babe it just looks clean like always.” Then she was walking to the car and the sun hit it and she was like, “wow babe this car is blinding me, oh my goodness.” Thanks to this channel her and my friends are now believers.

    Just depends on how perfect you want things to be. Like with nano coatings you get everything as perfect as possible then drive it to work and get 2 chips. I've never really seen the point in perfection with a daily driver? So this what Scott is showing makes sense for vehicles that actually are driven everyday.

    This is irreplaceable information and I agree with everything said here and done. We live in a world where people want to save time and money. The AIO one step is the solution. And this is how you work that solution. Show the customer, tell her what you think, and let her see and decide. Build up confidence at a good price and you are set!

  • @darylbruns48
    @darylbruns48 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    But what about the compounds themselves. You could add a more aggressive compound teamed up with the black pad and be in the middle to right? Or add it with the orange. Couldn’t that give you the same results as well. I do like this approach but it doesn’t stop there. That’s figuring out one compound with 3 pads but you could also do 3 polishes with one pad in a way as well right?

    I am a pro detailer in the North Central part of Ohio. I am looking for an experienced detailer in the area who wants to work as I have tons of clients and an ultra-prime location. I have a 3 bay shop connected to an actual car wash tunnel as well as self serv bays at a busy intersection. Nobody wants to work and the one's that do have zero experience and can't lay off the sauce. My calendar stays booked 2 weeks out with 2 gigs a day. I can't keep up with the demand. Now the next few months are my slowest of the year as you would expect with the holidays and winter weather. But come March I need a right-hand man to knock these gigs out the box.

Hopefully someone or yourself can answer how one cleans their (expensive brushes) with caked on black break dust and everything else that one cleans off dirty wheels - I've used the actual cleaner foam from Eagle One, Dawn dish soap and a mixture of microfiber cleaner with a laundry detegent with little progress soaking them for days??!? I just recently went through a one on one polishing class with an expert at Griot’s garage. He was telling me that when you first start out polishing with a dry pad, you should first wet the entire surface of the pad with a light coating of the compound/polish your using prior to running the pad over the paint. Basically never put a dry pad on the paint. Any thoughts? Thx
