The attention to detail on this Guards Red 964 is legendary. How I wish I could see it up close. Amazing finished result. I also love how you both totally geek out on every detail! Great story and car, Greg!
Enjoyed that. Have seen this car around several times but haven’t seen it up close. Incredible attention to detail. You could tell Frank was impressed!
That was a super video. Greg's attention to detail and craftsmanship is outstanding. I am more a purist but absolutely love what he has done .. what a car .. he has built this for exactly what he wants it for and that is the ethos of Porsche .. if you went to show then show, race then race, rally then rally, pose then pose.. they are the greatest sports car in the world and are a reflection of your own personality. That's why 75% of all Porsches ever built are still running today. Thanks for sharing this Frank
I remember Greg from way back in the VW scene. Even back then his level of show cars were beyond Magazine cover cars . His standards to deliver "only the very best" for his customers is evident in this video. And yet his persona and manner are so level headed and unaffected by the amount of praise and respect he regularly recieves. Love talking to both Greg or Frank , both cool , knowledgeable and approachable.👍🏻😎
“Level headed persona” you say?, having lived in 3 different continents and been in the car scene for nigh on 40years and engaged with all manner of technicians or engineers and mechanics of all levels etc, the best I can say is, that comment is ‘subjective’ from watching and listening to his comments. I’ll leave at that…! When someone says they’ll tell a customer to go away or go save more money and come back to get their service for what!!! Nice car though.
One of the things I can say about Greg, is that he will always over deliver! A picky/nightmare client is never an issue, as Greg’s expectations will always be higher! Happy to see him in his zone here… ALMOST going full Geek! Respect 😉👍🇬🇧
Albeit you stated you were a do you type of guy. Bro you chastised him a bit about some of the mods he did to his car. Quite frankly I think it's beautiful.
@@Tj930 the 964 has the more traditional 911 face. The 993 and 986 Boxster are more similar in appearance (maybe a nod to the 356 cars). Boxster usually gets the "hair dresser" joke.
Love all these owner videos!

Greg is an artist!🎉

Nice car though.
A brilliant video. Can’t wait to bring some Tribal Porsche members to you two events this summer. ❤
Another great episode. Love the 964, especially this one.
Owner stories are the best!
Great one! Thanks for sharing
These videos are so good. Really enjoy you doing them! Not many places to get these kinds of insights from real experts. 👍🏼
Lovely car and owner.
Love these interviews with the owners.
Absolutely beautiful car!

What a beautiful car... Wow
Great video and amazing car. I'd love to see this out on the road.
As a 964 C4 owner, thank you!
I am a fan of the credo " My car, my rules."
Is there a chance for 968?

So what is Greg’s company called? As I’m looking for a good Porsche body shop
Southam Bodies.
Found him.. Greg Howell Automotive Paint & Bodywork in Southam Warwickshire
I can 110% recommend
I could have bought a 964. Mechanically far superior. But, aesthetically, looked a bit "hair dressery"
As in nearly identical to every 911 prior to the 993 (which more closely resembles the 97 Boxster)?
@@JoJoJoker "Fried eggs"?... ie 996 from 1998?
