I am happy for him. He was being interviewed in a podcast and the guy seemed extremely humble. He gained his fame later in life.

Unlike Leslie Nielsen, who started his career as a serious actor then moved on to become famous as a comedy actor, Bob Odenkirk started with comedy, what with SNL and all, and then BB and BCS increased his appearances in serious roles and only now do we see how great of an actor he really is.
Young neighbor, Bob has been a house name for decades.

Bob Odenkirk spent 2 years training for this role which definitely shows in the movie. He shot that bus scene second week of shooting the movie.
He said that in s6 of better call saul he may look a little more buff because of this film i think
Never thought I would ever see Christopher Lloyd as an old badass action star.
Same thing goes with Bob Odenkirk, both did great!!!

Even though this film was getting good reviews, I was still pleasantly surprised how good this film actually was. Had such a good time with this film!
yeah, its like a goofier john wick which played perfectly into the actors personality
I found it to be a brilliant film. Just really kick arse!!
Two quick things that I noticed when I watched it on my own. His Government code name was NOBODY. You can see it on one of the papers when the guy was in the basement. Second, his Dad has the same tattoo on his wrist. You can see it when he lowers the shotgun when he shoots the two guys in his room.

I love how he and his neighbor are basically just having parallel mid-life crises, but where the other guy buys a car Hutch does a glory days rampage

This movie was shot by Ilya Naishuller, a Russian director who started with filming music videos for his band and then decided to go full-length. He has that urge for the interesting fightings, unusual camera shots and that kind of stuff, so if you liked Nobody, you can also check Hardcore Henry, which is Naishuller's second Movie that came worldwide -- if not for the channel, but just for the fun perhaps. It is quite unique and very unusual experience.
First Bob Odenkirk was a comedian, then a dramatic actor, and now ACTION STAR! Hot damn, Bob!
This is John Wick meeting Falling Down. And I love it!
I thought the same at first, but in Falling Down he was a civilian with no special training. This definitely leaned closer to a John Wick format, but felt shot more like Alpha and Omega..(can’t remember name of movie, but two branches of government assassins locked in a basement together, had rob cordrey and the goat legged guy from Percy Jackson. ) Had a slight Mr. and Mrs. Smith vibe when wife was nursing nobody’s wound. Glad they left her as a knowing and supportive wife, not delving too deep into her background and making her a super spy.

I loved this!!! Bob Odenkirk said that he trained for 2 years for this movie, and did all of his own fighting!

Considering that the Continental/Wick universe also has special cleanup agents called Auditors..... Even though he stated he worked for the 3 letter agencies I could still see these universes coexisting....
They probably used the same talent pool.
I love how big a fan you are of Bob, he really is one of the most underrated actors working today and this movie is a great example that!
He's also one of the most iconic comedic performers of the past 30 years, and you should totally check out Mr. Show or The Ben Stiller Show!

This is the most unexpectedly good movie i ever seen, honestly, it was such a surprise

This was my first movie back to the theaters since September, it was a blast

Back during the Breaking Bad days, behind the scenes, Bob was really enjoying the hell out of the harsh physical performances, describing in Season 2 how much he relished the scene he's held at gunpoint in the cold desert by Walt and Jesse, and later, getting beat up by Jesse; and then in Better Call Saul, being out in the desert again during Nacho's introduction, and then in the dumpster. He's injured himself kicking doors, falling out of the dumpster, and it's like he's never had so much fun, so this movie had to be him taking that joy to the hilt.
I saw this in theaters and it was an amazing experience to behold!
I knew a Jamaican guy , old neighbor. He had the mousetrap shotgunshell traps in his yard to protect his weed plants. The shells were rocksalt shells but still.
He also had a mini crossbow mount on his window facing the yard. Man was crazy

If he lives in a rural area he should use buckshot instead. rocksalt wont do shit to someone who is determined or on something like pcp.
He was a normal dude ( for the most part ) there was plenty of crackheads in the area too but that man put off like a Caribbean Terminator aura/presence that the junkies knew to stay away

I heard about this film, John Wick meets The Equalizer.
All these movies with this style from equalizer to now nobody are a reinterpretation of the man from nowhere(2010). You should give it a try. It's a lot better than all of these movies imo
I watched this twice. Loved it. The soundtrack is A++, and I very much enjoyed Bob kicking ass. Can you believe he trained for 2 whole entire years to do all those stunts himself? He started while he was filming BCS. Amazing stuff.
ETA I know you didn’t say it here on YT but the sound design when the car he’s in the trunk of crashes...so good.
Mr. Show is a must for a fan of Bob!
24:22 The Deadpool moment, three with one bullet. I'm late to this reaction because I had to see the movie before I could watch your video. I LOVED the shot during the car chase where Hutch's car is being pursued by a bunch of cars and the camera is not only behind the action but it's also moving away. That was a touch of class.
I HIGHLY recommend Hardcore Henry by the same director as Nobody? it's one of the most unique action film of the last decade.

It’s great to see underrated actors like Bob Odenkirk and Brian Kranston receive the recognition they deserve later in their careers.

For the first time in film history, Bob Odenkirk kicks his first ass!
The idea for the movie came from Odenkirk himself - the impetus was a home invasion that he experienced. So no, this was not developed as a Keanu Reeves project.
I love the trunk scene. He acts like it's not the first time he's had to dislocate his thumb and escape with a car's fire extinguisher.

I used to watch Mr. Show way back in the day so I recognized Bob Odenkirk when he showed up in Breaking Bad. I loved the idea of him playing the scummy lawyer. And then all of a sudden it was like whoa this guy can really act. Then even more of that talent is displayed in BCS. So when I saw the trailer for this movie I was totally onboard, and I gotta say he did a really great job in an action role.

I highly recommend you check out 13th Warrior with Antonio Banderas, from 1999. It’s an incredibly epic, beautifully shot film, from the director of Die Hard, Predator, and many other incredible flicks. I haven’t yet found anyone on YT that’s done a reaction, so you could be the first of many, my guy!

Yeah, the role is not for a Keanu or a Tom Cruise. Not for Brad or Leo. It’s about a middle aged, middle class schlub stuck in a rut, who also happened to be a deadly assassin in a former life.
Kind of a nice touch there, Dudes that are super high speed or super secretive special forces used to call them selves something like accountants or auditors or mechanics, it was really common for the first seals in Vietnam to do that

I watched this a couple weeks ago, had no idea it was done by the guy who did John Wick but it’s basically John Wick 2.0
You should continue the Bob streak and check out Mr Show with Bob and David. It's Bob Odenkirks and David Cross HBO sketch show from the 90s. There's only a few seasons and it has some cameos you won't believe. It's my favorite sketch comedy show ever! Great channel!
the actor playing the russian guy which 's gun was intercepted by dad is russian band "Leningrad" frontman Sergey Shnurov. Alexey Serebryakov the man antagonist is a very, very good actor, by the way.

The “extra” scene points to a sequel, IMO. And I down for it! Very fun movie, with great action, story and acting, not to mention fight choreo, and editing.
Cristopher Lloyd is an absolute gem here. His whole performance looks like he's been waiting for a role like this since childhood and I am so here for it.
The Mansell family kicking ass together is the highlight of the movie.

You should react to the man from nowhere(2010). It is the movie that inspired John wick. its a lot better in many aspects too. A lot of people miss that movie just bcoz it's a foreign film. You'll find some of the best fight scenes in cinematic history
