hey I need help, when I import the model and rebuild the rig, then I change to pose mode and when I move the hand or anything else, it doesnt move only the cone thing moves, please I have been trying to fix this for months
You need to add weight for mesh, first of all go to object mode, select the mesh (roblox model), after select a bones, click the "object>parent>with automatic weights" (sorry for my eng)
for some reason when i move my rig there are blue lines that go to the center of the little plane and when i move my arm the selector goes all the way to the blue line

For some reason i reinstalled blender 2.83.9 because it said view model on all of my assets and i also reinstalled every plugin and its still showing as view model edit: Also when i move the bones from my rig, it only moves the bones and not the part

Yeah, you're meant to make a new baseplate file on roblox studio, then, copy and paste the viewmodel from the original roblox place to the new baseplate, then import the animation in that new baseplate. this works every time for me.

1. Verify there are no errors upon export
2. Check for any updates on the roblox -> blender plugin
3. Use different version of blender

Go to the texture section, option, then instead of "opaque" select alpha blend

restart blender and try to re-import the rig, if this doesn't work re-install the plugins

Even if I reinstall the blender plugin and roblox plugin it still doesnt work. I cant animate it at all.
Remeber to remove ALL decals from your model, get rid of any error before exporting or this will NEVER work

When I move the arms it doesnt add keyframes it does nothing, it always goes back to normal
Press the square button with a white circle at the bottom of your timeline pannel, once activated it will automatically keyframe movements.

Yeah, you're meant to make a new baseplate file on roblox studio, then, copy and paste the viewmodel from the original roblox place to the new baseplate, then import the animation in that new baseplate. this works every time for me.
