Someone would often request this Sinatra song in many LA piano bars I used to frequent when they were still around... & Yes, Ray Liotta was a fabulous actor... & Joe Pesci used to frequent some of My favorite LA Jazz Clubs & periodically pick up the mic & sing a few standards often with 'Joey De Francesco @ the Hammond B3
I apologize for not emailing you but I don't know how to access email I don't know how to use the phone I have I would like to pay my sincerest condolences for your loss for Ray he was such a beautiful human being he was loving he was kind he loved everybody he lived life to the fullest he was sweet he was sincere he was a very honest gentleman and you can't say that about many people anymore and I just want to wish all of you my deepest condolences for your loss and I hope that in time you can hear and I hope that he's creating movies and he's having fun up in heaven now God must have needed another angel I will keep all of you in my prayers that you will heal from this if that's it all possible he was just such a beautiful human being just so honest and sincere I have watched every single movie he has ever done I've watched his little talk shows I've seen little flicks here and there when he was a teenager he was just a really beautiful person I feel bad for the family and I feel bad for his fiance she must be in shock as much as you all are please accept my deepest condolences for your loss may he rest in peace from Lynn in Maine
Ray Liotta didn't sing in this film. He lip synced to a session vocalist. Originally they were going to license Sinatra's original recordings, but the cost would have made the film run over budget. Just as an example. Some of the Sinatra songs can cost as must as 50,000USD for 2 minutes and even more in some cases.
