Best to start with a hot engine, fully warmed through. For even more prep, put some penetrating oil down there a couple of days beforehand to let it soak in. Same as for glow plugs. Still generally need the slide hammer, but less effort needed with the right prep.
Good video. Im lucky mine will rotate left and right with a tap but I had no clue how to apply upward force. How did you remove the grey bit on top please?
@@wds_originals I did wonder that, im beyond caring about the exchange business now. Lets hope I have a socket that fits. Good work mate. much appreciated
I have the same problem. Thanks!

I mullered the top of the injector and unscrewed the cap. Hope this helps.

Quick question dude.how did you get the plastic cap off the injector? Smash it off melt it or twist it off some how ?
Combination of smashing it/crunching it and twisting it, it was stubborn that’s for sure!
@@wds_originals thanks man im giving it ago now 😅
@@tiredhero did it work?
If you will remove top of the injecror you will recalibrate it....
If one is replacing it with a new injector who cares 👍
