I shot some footage using one yesterday, and just found this video today. I'll share once edited. One of my initial tests was mounting it in my passenger seat and driving on a bumpy road. The resulting footage keeps the landscape pretty stable, and the dashboard looks like it's shaking! It worked well. I have found it can jerk if I move too suddenly, not that's not usually a problem.
So far, I'm loving my Webill S. I just wish they would release a max payload for it. My Canon 6D M2 and EF 24-70mm f/2.8L (yes series 1) was a bit much for it, but it can do my Canon R5 with the EF to RF adapter and that same EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens just fine (one heavy setup though, I don't dare put my zoom/focus motor on there with that).
I purchased this set back in 09/2020 and just now in 01/2024 I am getting it out! OMG I can not believe how busy I have been and how much procrastination I added to it🤣. I am planing on mounting a JVC 300 with it.
Hello Jake, just saw a demo of the 3S and watched your vid. My question is what is included with the Pro version. I'm using a C300 Mark ll with a Ninja V. Can it handle the load? Thank you much. Almost forgot also have a Zacuto external batter pack with D taps.

Thanks Jake! That's the best review I've seen on this gimbal. I've purchased the Crane 3S package with the smart handle and am working my way through mastering it. My Canon XA30 with Rode Videomic Pro atop seems to work well enough. My next steps are to switch my XA30 front ring to control focus and get one is their motors so I can pull focus from the gimbal. Looking forward, do you have information on which Crane 3S compatible cameras are a good step forward from me XA30 please? I'm disposed towards the Black Magic cameras as I'm a Davinci Resolve user, but integration with the Crane is a bigger issue than editing software. I'm a bit budget constrained, but if I step forward I want it to be a decent gain. Thx.
Does anyone have experience with the Image Transmitter 2.0? I just got it for my Crane 3s and the smart follow/object tracking feature doesn't seem to be there.. very disappointing. Any help would be appreciated.

I had to take my last DJI stabilizer back and B&H recommended this one cause of my camera weight. I'm looking forward to trying this one.

Nevermind, just figured it out. The specified Camera on the gimbal needs to be in "CCS" - after that tracking works great!
