Hair fibers are good for if you have a balding area or a receding hairline, but I would not recommend using it to cover your whole head. I’ve tried it before when I had my hair thinning and it was WAY too much maintenance and I ended up just going bald all together. Also for those who do use it, I highly recommend using the holding spray to keep it in.

Yeah when my crown first started showing, hair fibers really did work to give me the confidence not to constantly worry about my balding spot and just go on with my day. But now I've shaved my head and and I have the same level of worry, which is none, and the the TRUE confidence I'm gaining from showing my true self is on another level.
I have a full head of hair, and not one male in the past 3 generations went anywhere close to bald, maybe slight receding at the front in their 60s and 70s. With that said, I would never ever rock any type of fibers, toupees, transplants, or anything whatsoever. In fact, I intentionally buzzed and shaved my hair many times, even without a perfect face shape or growing a beard because I just do not give a fuck. After the 1st day, everyone just accepted it and forgot I ever had long hair, and I was on my merry way. With that said, I've watched many videos about transplants and various forms of treatment, and I love your channel because you too, never waste time, money, or energy on contemplating traveling to Turkey for a transplant, and refocused your attention to working out and spreading positivity and acceptance and guidance for others to follow. Going out with hair fiber that stands out that much just shows how confident you are, Harry. It also shows others how worried they'd have to be every single day, skipping going to the swimming pool, constantly checking the mirror, hiding from the rain all so that other people don't find out they're losing hair... It's just the mind playing tricks on them, thinking they're less of a man with thinning hair, while the opposite is true - bald men are perceived as masculine and easily stand out in the crowd of people with the same undercut haircut. Just my opinion on the whole situation...
I don't know how any guy could put that s*** on their head and go out in public, It looks absolutely ridiculous. Better to be bald than look like a clown. Harry thanks for showing us just how ridiculous it does look.
I totally disagree with you. I've used hair fibers for 19 years & it is quite efficient. Of course if you only have a few hair on your head that's useless. But if it didn't work I wouldn't have used that for nearly half my life.
My opinion on hair fibers is it completely depends on the person and their situation. If you’re going completely bald then these definitely are not for you cuz as you can see they look ridiculous. However if you aren’t losing your hair and just receding a bit like in my case these can be perfect. I use Caboki hair fibers with the diffusing pump that makes it soooo much more easier to apply with better accuracy. Luckily for me I just need a tiny bit on each side and then I gently comb it and my hair looks great. I got the hair spray too if I know I’m gonna be outside for awhile that will legit hold it in place all day. Since I only need a little bit one bottle last me awhile and if it does come out for whatever reason it doesn’t make a mess and get everywhere like it would if u had a ton in ur head. But yeah I wouldn’t completely knock these but I definitely wouldn’t use it if I were bald. An as for confidence I definitely feel a lot more confident wearing these now but I can still leave the house without them on and not feel like I need them. The way I look at it is it’s not different then girls wearing makeup to cover stuff up or anything else they do.
I have never laughed so much in my life! You are hysterical! You looked fantastic bald and your personality goes with it. You don't need hair! Thanks for the video!
I've only just caught up and watched this video. I was laughing throughout. I had flashbacks of myself using this stuff on and off for over 2 years, man the stuff gets all over the place especially in the sink. 😂 I really agree with your final thoughts. I actually shaved my (thinning) hair off before discovering Baldcafe but without a doubt you've given me the confidence I thought I'd lost. Keep up the good work and......... .....thank you 👍🏻
So.....first rule of fibre club is you only apply it where there is hair, if its only skin it won't work. Then secure by turning a can of hairspray upside down and spraying above your head so it mists down to secure, this way the pressure does not blow them away. I used them for 12 years and they worked amazingly well for me. In addition I developed a better delivery system then the bottle they come in which allows for a more natural look and further to that I did use them on a bald crown successfully with another tweak. Nowadays i dont use them as my bald spot became too big and as I'm 40 something now I dont give a shit but when I was young and needed to get laid they were a lifesaver.
IMHO you look so much better keeping it shaved bald. That hair fiber stuff looked so strange when it was on your head, and looked like it would rub off or dissolve when it gets wet, leaving odd bits of bald scalp showing. This was a very useful video because my balding looks a lot like yours and I will never bother now trying out hair fibers. I love shaving my head so much !!
I did it for a year before I shaved my head. It made me feel more comfortable than just completely showing my baldness, but it also made me feel fake all the time. I didnt like that. Also, I was always worried there was going to be powder on my face, and it would fall out throughout the day. Theres pros and cons for sure. If you really dont want to shave your head, I do think it's good to use to cover up some balding, but it really is a pain in the ass, makes a mess, and really doesnt help you get over your baldness. Also, it works way better when you still have a lot of hair to cover up the powder, if that makes since. I had a comb over, so I could put the bits of hair over the power to give a better illusion... honestly, it's just silly at the end if the day in my Opinion.
Fully agree with you and I have similar sentiments in the comment I just wrote. I'm thinning and they worked well when I tried them but it's not worth the hassle, mess and cost. I don't really want fake hair or the appearance of hair but just want to keep my own so fibres aren't for me.
This will work for people with longer hair but for people like me and Baldcafe, it won't work as the scalp hair is too thin. I used it for a few days on vacation and thought I'd got away with it. As I sat in the plane my friend on the way back from the bathroom rubbed my head as he went to sit past me, and was clearly surprised when he go this powdery gunk in his hand! One other thing for people to realize is these bottles are expensive also and if you have severe thinning then you'll use practically a whole bottle for one usage. I'm so glad I shaved my head eventually and don't have to rely on temporary measures like this anymore. Big on you for trying though
Also another way to have confidence is to STOP thinking about being bald not being obsessed about these questions of hair. You are what you look , you cannot change it.
Although I've never tried it Hair systems could be potentially dangerous as they really seem to end up tempting people to keep them. Like Karl Pilkington when he tried one was clearly enamoured with the result but his wife didn't like it on him. What I like most about this channel is that it preaches self confidence and acceptance of oneself. So when I see a fellow bald man cover up and hide I just want to encourage him to embrace it. Such a good channel
To play the devil's advocate: - Hair fibers look good with thinning hair that's longer. - For a shaved look, you should use hair fiber spray and not apply it manually with your fingers. - It's also good for enhancing the look of a hair transplant, not for someone who will go completely bald. This is what I've learned watching TH-cam barbers who work on balding men. But I agree, men shouldn't rely on hair fibers for their confidence. It should just be treated a styling tool like having facial hair, dying your hair, wearing nice clothes, etc.
I should try hair fibers and Rogaine plus. Derma roller. Or hair skin nails vitamin i will also try laser. Hat treatment. Im not sure if your supposed to sprinkle it i saw rubing. It on.
The problem is this guy's hair is way too short for hair fibres to properly work. I have used hair fibres for years and they are a GOD SEND. If you have medium length hair at least and your balding areas still contain miniaturised hair then hair fibres will work wonders.
I use these exact hair fibers on my thinning crown everyday, if theres still quite abit of hair for the fibers to bind onto I've found it works wonders. On my head you'd never think i use it on my hair it looks perfectly natural. MASSIVE confidence boost especially because I'm only 21
Honestly my honest intake on hair fibers is not to do it because like he said you become dependent on it and as time goes by and your thinning/balding gets worse your going to use more and more to the point where any activity that involves washing off the fibers is going to be out of your life and it’s gonna restrict you from living your best life. Trust me I tried it and started getting dependent on it and when it rained I would freak out and go to the bathroom and stuff. What type of life is that... screw the fibers and stay natural
Harry, Love this video with ur wife traveling eating and doing one of my great loves in life. 🏄♀️ 🏄 Surfing! Keep going. Kelly Slater and I are both shave bald Veteran Surfers! Is surfing taking on in Britain? Growing up in Texas, I grew up surfing from youth. Aloha from Texas, Dr. Liam Stone, D.D., Ph.D., N.D.
*A normal/full head of hair is approx 4 hairs per square cm. Some guys out there have thinning areas that have maybe half that, so 1 to 2 hairs per sq cm. Hair fibres boost their confidence. If they're happy and it works, more power to them. Some people use thickening shampoo, that works too*
Idk how people are confident walking around with them in because in the back of your head you would be worried about sweating or it rubbing off. Great video Harry!
This stuff and products like Toppix work if you aren’t bald yet. If you are thinning gradually or have a small bald spot in the back they can work. It can blend and adhere to the hairs you have left. Makes it look fuller. But, one starts to use it as a crutch. You start to truly depend on it especially when your hair gets thinner and thinner. Then you start to worry if the fibers haven’t blown out due to a wind gust or some rain drops potentially causing the dripping of it down your face! I would avoid going into pools. I would take the fibers and a little travel sized hair spray everywhere in my satchel. Just to make sure I’d have no ‘issues’ away from home. Women couldn’t tell but I would make sure I wouldn’t leave any residue on their pillows after sexy time, ha. I used fibers for I would say five years. Bamboozled a lot of people. But, like I mentioned, it became such a strong dependency and distraction in my life. Your channel helped me and was the catalyst for me to face the confidence to just shave the hair off cold turkey and embrace the dome. My friends are still my friends. I was worried SO much about nothing! Cheers.
I used the fibers when I had longer hair to hide the bald spot on my scalp. Worked great but I only used it on special occations. The key is not to use a lot of it just enough to take away the lighter parts that shine through. I used a comb to make the fibers more even. By the way don't expect it to improve your hairline, because it's not. In fact you should avoid using it at all in the front since it could fall off the hair and leave you with powder in the face.
I use hair fibers and I still have my long hair. My thinning on the top isn't that bad yet, but it's starting to get visually obvious without the fibers. I think it's because I have long hair and nobody can see that i've applied hair fibers as they're buried underneath my long hairs. I think hair fibres are really hard to pull off with short hair, but if you've got long hair, it works very good! That's my experience using them and won't stop anytime soon! Don't forget hairspray to lock them in place, typically lasts me 3-4 days before needing a top up and they survive the sweaty gym :)
Before I took the buzzer to my head for all eternity, I got into Topikk Hair Fibers. My hair wasn’t too bad that I couldn’t use it. A 7-10g bottle of it cost me only $8 and it would last me about a month and a half and I was like fuck yeah, 8 bucks to keep my hair! I worked at Target at the time, I was 21 (now 23) and not gonna lie, it worked amazingly well. Nobody ever noticed and if they did they chalked up to thinking I was taking some serious hair supplements. But, the dread of putting it on every day before work, before going to school and hanging out with friends, was too much to handle. It gave me a very fake feeling, I started thinking too much about it, whether people could see it or not. And honestly, your videos are what got me to stop using that stuff and start buzzing my hair altogether. So kudos to you brotha, for getting me out of that self-deprivating situation I was in!
I’ve had a thin crown for 5 years. Fibers work perfectly for me. I apply every day, it takes me 5 mins every morning. I’ve recently started using a spray nozzle bottle & enhance my front hairline. It works perfect for me. I wash it out every night before bed & re apply in the morning before I go go work. Your head is far too bald to use fibers. It’s for thin ness with hair growing over the scalp so they stick properly. To do it on the crown hold a mirror in one hand behind you. Simple. For a fair test I think I should be videod on your channel & il show you how to apply it correctly & what the results can be.
Ryan Kelley that’s my thought. Too many take it all off too soon imo. A short buzz cut like a number 2 guard with a skin fade is still a style someone with thinning crown & temples is perfect for
Hey man love your videos, not bald (yet) but i like watching your videos you have a good youtube energy i guess. Always wanted to learn mandarin how long did it take you and what do you think about china. There is a program in my country for exchange students so im planning on doing it after the virus stuff calms down a bit! Keep it up
100% agree that having a shaven head takes every bit of insecurity out.. having a shaven head is normal and anyone is so used to people without hair.. but noticing concealers, fibres etc is really embarrassing so add anxiety to the one using
Hair fibres actually work very well if you're just thining and I would recommend them if you're really uncomfortable with that but it's just prolonging the inevitable and it's not that much different to wearing a wig really. You're still going to be anxious that the fibres will blow off or someone will say something (much like wearing a wig). They're going to cost a lot of money if you use them every day as well so I'd say they're not really worth the hassle and mess unless you just decide to use them as a one off for special occasions etc. One thing I must say though is it's remarkable how different you look with a hairline (even if it was all over the place lol). It completely changes how you look and even makes you look younger and I think that's what a lot of people dislike or worry about with losing their hair or going for the shaved look. Nice to see you reviewing or trying new things though, especially when not everyone is ready to let go just yet 😆.
You have another version thats looks like face powder, you can use it this way. There is way less fibers and it's way more natural (you can shave the head and put a minimum amount on the balding areas, just for them to be just a little bit darker - like the sides of the head when it's shaved - it can be very minimalistic) Also, it lasts way longer on the head, and when you lose it, people can't really see because it's like makeup for the face. It's 10x better than the one used in this video when you don't have much hair left but .... it's not a solution I would recommand, lol. The best solution is probably to listen to Baldcafé and his speeches about confidence.
harry really thoguht ur editing and drone shots of the beatch were really cool, do u edit ur own videos and if so can u recommend a good video editing app or program ? :)
Its meant for thinning hair not bald like him. I have thin crown and after blow dry and using fibers i brush and style and you cant even tell then after fibers and style i use hairspray
To me , I used mine last night. I only think you should use this on a special night out. But don’t use it every day. It will suffocates the scalp. Also use hair spray but keep in mind you will still get it on your hands if you touch it or anyone else touches your hair
You are applying the fibres the wrong way..... you're supposed to tap the filter over your head, it also depends on how many holes are on the filter. big holes will take too much fibres out and will keep pilling on looking like a mess. if the filter has lots of tiny holes, you will get a natural look. Also you apply hair spray using a hairdryer after applying. sometimes it stays for 2 days depending on what hairspray you use. You will need a freeze hold hair spray
I’m a proud bald man and I did exactly what you did here in the video. I put the hair fibers in the middle to cover the horse shoe and had my friend shape up the hair line with a razor and it still looked horrible. By the way it wasn’t a serious attempt to cover my balding it was all for fun and curiosity.
Started shaving my head with a DE razor about a month ago. It's a bit of maintenance but nothing terrible. I do need to get a more aggressive razor for a closer with the grain shave. I like the against the grain smoothness but as far as being shaven, i'm enjoying it. Girlfriend doesn't seem to mind a bit, I got some jokes here and there for the first two weeks but I also got a lot of compliments. I got a few "you shouldn't be bald at that age" comments from family. I'm 21 but the bald runs deep in the family. Family of chrome domed dudes.
It takes practice. And your hair is a little further gone. But still workable. Use topic or Cabokie. They work. There are also sprays and scalp dye. It really does take a lot of practice. But for me personally it’s to early to accept being bald to my peers and it’s worth the time and effort To clean properly. But it makes all the difference. It really does for me. It looks better than without any day
Lone Surviver couldn’t agree more to be honest mate, I’m feed up with looking in the mirror every single time I walk passed one to check if it’s still right and the wind and rain is a killer too.
Im 53 and have hair but a little thin on top so I use these fibers and they work well....I also train so I get sweating but don't I have a problem....I just have to use that much tbf so u wud say that's the difference....
@@welshlad6427 I just got one session done redness was a good 5 days. How many sessions did u have? Also after my first session I'm going to work but hairs still super bald so I got this topikk stuff in the meantime
It’s made to make your hair thicker and fuller to hide thin spots, not to go on skin in place of your hair. 😂 gotta grow it out a little and use it later.
It’s best to apply the fibers and use comb to attach them to hair rather than fingers. Then use hair spray to add a layer of protection and keep them in place throughout the day.
ive been on firnasteride for 14 years (no sides).. stopped my thinning at the crown cold in its tracks .. the fibers work excellently .. wind never affects them.. rain? well keep an umbrella handy lol .. never ever has a single person say anything as the fibers match my hair perfectly..
I've lost some hair due to side effects to medication and I shaved my head during the lock down and I didn't realise how thin my hair has gone at the top front. It's at a 2 all round and when I use it it actually looks normal. I think it's great. Id have less confidence if I didnt have it so I don't care that its a crutch, I'm just happy it works. Also most people I've seen use it on youtube like you are way to bald and put way to much on so it looks stupid. I just put a small bit on and makes a big difference. I'd recommend anyone to atleast try it and if you don't like it then don't use it.
Hair needs to be about a inch longer to work well it's just the rain as we all know rocking the bold look is always best but hair fibers do work but as you get older it's harder to match colour great video
There's a video with a black guy doing this and it came out PeRfect. You need a makeup brush shaving cream brush to pat and spread it and then hairspray to hold it down.
@Baldcafe i think it is useful if your out in public and dont feel like getting your hair clippers and trimming both the sides in back the usually takes around 10min why not use the hair fibres they do their job the only issue they are not cheap your looking around £50 or £60 for a tiny bottle.
What do you think guys. Do Hair Fibers give you confidence or are they just preventing you from digging deep and making real progress?
I think it depends on the person
I can't imagine using them. I'd be even more anxious because I would constantly be worried the fibres running off (rain, swimming, wind etc).
Also, even if you get comfortable using them effectively, as you've said you can still become too reliant on the confidence they give you.
@Daughter of Enoch it was the powder. It is meant for longer hair thats why it didnt work for him
Bad application, not even, bald spots and the hairline...even God can't save that one !
Daughter of Enoch she did in the end...
You actually have to have some hair to use them lol. I would only recommend them to someone who has started to thin/has a slight bald patch.

You should now do a review on getting a hair system
Let’sSee Maybe you’re damn right I should. I think that should be next 😉
Baldcafe I can’t wait 😊 keep up the good work 👍
Although I've never tried it Hair systems could be potentially dangerous as they really seem to end up tempting people to keep them.
@@Baldcafe yup please we all are eagerly waiting.
pls do one on full tape, im going for it soon
Love this channel, keep up the FANTASTIC work pal 👍👍
To play the devil's advocate:
- Hair fibers look good with thinning hair that's longer.
Loving the videos man!
Joshua Gwatkin Thanks for watching man. Really glad you are enjoying them 👍 😊
You look better bald bro! Embrace it! I started buzzing my hair since the pandemic. And personally I like it now lol
Looks good bro!
Great video Harry. Brings back horrible memories of stickiness. Thank god those days are over.
MASSIVE confidence boost especially because I'm only 21
If it helps and u feel more confidence
Not really problem dont listen to others
Honestly my honest intake on hair fibers is not to do it because like he said you become dependent on it and as time goes by and your thinning/balding gets worse your going to use more and more to the point where any activity that involves washing off the fibers is going to be out of your life and it’s gonna restrict you from living your best life. Trust me I tried it and started getting dependent on it and when it rained I would freak out and go to the bathroom and stuff. What type of life is that... screw the fibers and stay natural

Harry,
Love this video with ur wife traveling eating and doing one of my great loves in life. 🏄♀️ 🏄 Surfing! Keep going. Kelly Slater and I are both shave bald Veteran Surfers! Is surfing taking on in Britain? Growing up in Texas, I grew up surfing from youth.
Aloha from Texas,

*A normal/full head of hair is approx 4 hairs per square cm. Some guys out there have thinning areas that have maybe half that, so 1 to 2 hairs per sq cm. Hair fibres boost their confidence. If they're happy and it works, more power to them. Some people use thickening shampoo, that works too*
A normal head of hair has far more than 4 hairs per square cm. Considering a head has about 100 thousand hairs.
@@danbrookes2997I think he means per square millimeter.
This is perfect for black men's hair :)
Im CRACKING up watching this omg lol!!!
Men with nice beards and bald or buzzed look very in style. OWN IT!👍👍👍
Idk how people are confident walking around with them in because in the back of your head you would be worried about sweating or it rubbing off. Great video Harry!
Hahaha I really enjoyed this one! I saw a comment about trying a hair system next, I think that’d be awesome.
5:19 was the best part of video actually
You cheeky boy

Best review ever! Had a good laugh. Thnx!
Better to be bald & free than to be a prisoner of hair fibers and look like a clown. Except the balding And move forward
Donald Allen no is rather fight the baldness for as long as I can. Then go bald in my 40s
Keep it up
This guy is brilliant!!
"I can't go to breakfast like this! 🤪" Lol

Great video my man! Glad you could use my video too 😂😂
Quality video man
You have another version thats looks like face powder, you can use it this way.
Sounds interesting what’s it called?
harry really thoguht ur editing and drone shots of the beatch were really cool, do u edit ur own videos and if so can u recommend a good video editing app or program ? :)
I think you are doing it wrong on purpose to discourage anyone from not being completely slick bald.
He does that alot look at his finasteride
There's no way people use that stuff. That's awful.
People think that will look better than a clean shaved head? Smh.
Its meant for thinning hair not bald like him. I have thin crown and after blow dry and using fibers i brush and style and you cant even tell then after fibers and style i use hairspray
Yea
You speak chinese! Cool man, I'm learning right now. Love the channel!
This was hilarious. Brilliant video.
Do fibers actually aid in the growth of hair or is it just aesthetic?
Is it resistant to rain? 😅👍
If you're already dead folicules bald It won't work and look ridicoulous. But If it's just thinning hair It actually looks good.
To me , I used mine last night. I only think you should use this on a special night out. But don’t use it every day. It will suffocates the scalp. Also use hair spray but keep in mind you will still get it on your hands if you touch it or anyone else touches your hair
I tried fibers on my receding hairline and it looked extremely unnatural. It looked as if I had a clump of powder on my head. So I just went bald.
Good video! Please try more non-sponsored products! Those are always the realest reviews. Also nice to see you outside one time 😂
I’m a proud bald man and I did exactly what you did here in the video. I put the hair fibers in the middle to cover the horse shoe and had my friend shape up the hair line with a razor and it still looked horrible. By the way it wasn’t a serious attempt to cover my balding it was all for fun and curiosity.
Yes my hoe, you are right
That first reaction had me laughing my ass off. “That looks so shit.”
I want to buzz my head but not to a zero yet. I like his length in the video prior to the fiber crap. Would yall say its about a 1 or a 2?
You actually got it pretty good at the end
No he didn't 😂
Lol that looks legit, if you don't wanna be bald that totally works
It takes practice. And your hair is a little further gone. But still workable. Use topic or Cabokie. They work. There are also sprays and scalp dye. It really does take a lot of practice. But for me personally it’s to early to accept being bald to my peers and it’s worth the time and effort To clean properly. But it makes all the difference. It really does for me. It looks better than without any day
I’m doing the whole buzz cut and shave this weekend, hate my hair at the moment, I’m always worried about how it looks.
why dont u writing in a record ur shave to send to harry for this channel ? :)
Buzz/shave looks better than the creeper thinning but holding on look
How do you do that mate? I would be interested in doing this, as scary as it would be.
@@MoreThanBlocks. message him on Instagram if you have it his Instagram is same as his TH-cam name
Lone Surviver couldn’t agree more to be honest mate, I’m feed up with looking in the mirror every single time I walk passed one to check if it’s still right and the wind and rain is a killer too.
I've got upto 3:12 and I'm literally crying with laughter...its the hairline and the little bridge you accidentally created
Just showing your wife is already a big confidence booster for the balding lol
He’s not an ugly guy, an ugly bald guy is SOL.
I think we need to see more of the girl that was with you. Just get SMP already man. What the hell are you waiting for ???
Im 53 and have hair but a little thin on top so I use these fibers and they work well....I also train so I get sweating but don't I have a problem....I just have to use that much tbf so u wud say that's the difference....
Would you be interested in having SMP. I’ve had it done now for 5 years and it looks so natural. Has given me so much confidence 👍
What is SMP?
Chaniago Abd scalp micro pigmentation. I’ve had it and it’s been a real changer for me.
@@welshlad6427 I just got one session done redness was a good 5 days. How many sessions did u have? Also after my first session I'm going to work but hairs still super bald so I got this topikk stuff in the meantime
I had smp too
@@BigALdeek I needed 3 treatments. How’s yours now?
Ha ha ha ! Just by curiosity, you could grow your remaining hair and then, use hair fibers ... 😆
phczajkowskij not much grows these days 😔 😂
Hair fibers 👍👍👍.. looks natural.. but hair system look totally better.. both are good 👏👏👏
Not gonna lie it looks better with the fibers, yeah its a little patchy but it still makes your face more appealing to look at.
Seems like more work than just shaving it
why you dont try the peepermint oil thing for 1-2 months?
Haha been there tried that shit didn't even make it out the door man haha
Hair needs to be about a inch longer to work well it's just the rain as we all know rocking the bold look is always best but hair fibers do work but as you get older it's harder to match colour great video
Glad you liked it man and thanks for sharing your opinion on it 👍
Hard to match the colour? I use 2 shades dark brown & medium brown & mix them to make the right shade 👍
