- This is Marion Poizeau's work. Documenting Fiordland National Park's (Wild Animal Recovery Operators (WARO's) Dick Deaker and Jeff Carter. If you like this buy Olivia Page's book by the same name.
3 absolute legends of the deer recovery industry right there - Dick Deaker, Jeff Carter, and the mighty Hughes 500 D model!!!
I get homesick, they breed and while we all love Bambi, the buggers are so destructive... Its been fifty years since I was on those tops... Once seen never forgotten. I still recall just how the lads showed the airforce how to fly helicopters. Great blokes all!
We lived on the west coast at the Carter Merchants settlement in 1966 and 67. My father worked for them I was 6 years old it was the best time of my and my two brothers lives.Dad used to take us to Jackson 's bay to fish. There was a old lady who used to surf cast off the beach at high tide and catch 4 foot sharks one I saw was a hammer head. Good times
You'd know patrick nolan and the rest then
Great videos. Thete are still great southern adventures though....we have been track cutting in the tin range on Stewart Island...talk about wild!
Excellent video.
love it, thanks
Amazing. What song is this at the start?
its all organic , apart from $30 000 000 worth of 1080 dropped annually
Thirty million dollars annually?
your at least two orders of magnitude high on that one.
