Love the long form content. Story is an underrated component of pretty much any creative project. The example that comes to mind is in weathering a prop- it's so easy to splotch in rust, dings, pits, grime, etc mindlessly, but when you imagine the life the prop would have experienced had it been a real object, your work takes a decisive, interesting direction that results in a far better, more lifelike product. Love seeing these fundamentals in other media, keep up the great work.
I love this video, thank you so much! I might just make a low-poly PS1 style version of the wagon and release for free as well, both because I'm working on a western game with that aesthetic and as a thank you.
I got interested in blender two days ago and i know nothing about it aside from some basic movements and still watched the whole thing and it all looks complicated but it also looks amazing i hope i will be able to make things like this but i dont think my laptop will be able to handle som many things but i will try :)
Jump in my discord, I'm trying to grow a community of people who help each-other out no matter what skill level! Also, I am planning a video soon about using blender on low end hardware!
I felt the same way a few months ago, when I first started using Blender. It may seem daunting at first, but it gets easier very quickly. I'm making stuff now that i never would have thought possible back then 😀
Ive read that pro creators like this have many payd addons/plugins (alredy done things)and thier work is much faster..we just do all from scratch.so my opinion better to work with unreal engine 5...dont know..😊
@@StivensGameZone I only use a handful of paid add-ons in my stuff and generally thats only because they're a core part of my workflow when I'm doing contract work as well. As for asset libraries I provided the wagon model for this video for free for that reason, I want viewers to be able to follow along without having to spend any money if possible. The material assets I use in the video are all CC0 and free as well :)
Awesome video, I've known about using story to make renders interesting but I never thought about using it to make renders more realistic. I feel like the title is a bit bland though and not really telling what the video is about. I'd maybe suggest: "How to use story in renders to drive realism (Blender)" or smth similar. Don't take it as an incentive to take out the intro at 0:27 though, that was a piece of art
I watched this twice and still feel like I need to watch it a few more times. So much amazing information in this video! Thank you!

I use assets from a few different places that are cc0 but they’re mainly from ambient CG

Titles are definitely something I struggle with, will give a few variations a try
