kinda want to start making games w unity do you have any advice as to where to start?
i mean i 100% should not be learning to code rn because i have my finals coming up and instead of studying im learning russian, learning c#, writing music, etc etc.

I think the best way to learn game dev is to watch a few tutorials on TH-cam, maybe a tutorial series, just to understand the basics of everything. Then just start making your own projects. I would recommend starting off simple and making a game around a single mechanic, for example try to make a simple platformer with a few levels and a dash mechanic. You can then expand on that simple game and add new features, or start a new project around a new mechanic.
In short, the best way to learn is to just do it. You'll see yourself improving with every project. Good luck on your game development journey!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed. You generally only use addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in game programming, and it is usually very simple. Some things can get more advanced but 99% of game programming is just changing values. Best way to learn is to just do it, watch some tutorials to try and understand the basics and then start your own simple project. Good luck on your game programming journey :)
