I've had similar experiences where I'd go to a place full of people and when I walk in I'd panic as hell literally loose my breath. It got soo bad I'd go cry in the washrooms. I decided to sit down with myself(sort of like meditating) and I realized the reason I always had a panic attack was because I thought I wasn't enough. So I decided to remind myself everytime I am around a large crowd that "I am worthy, I am enough, I am wanted and I belong".

There's an easy test to know how men and women generally perceive themselves. Place a camera in front of a woman and her first reaction will be 'OMG get that off me' she'll immediately see the faults on her, make up, dress or anything else. While a man infront of a camera will see how good he looks, he may even flex a bit and be like 'yep, i still got it!'

    First comment yaaay🤣🤣🤣
    I love this opening song
Don Ruiz, in his book The Four Agreements, tells us: In your whole life nobody has ever abused you more than you have abused yourself. And the limit of your self-abuse is exactly the limit that you will tolerate from someone else. If someone abuses you a little more than you abuse yourself, you will probably walk away from that person. But if someone abuses you a little less than you abuse yourself, you will probably stay in the relationship and tolerate it endlessly
That's why you're told to never let your mind bully your body, set boundaries with people around you and learn to make your independent opinions, we've been taught alot as we grew up but that's just the beginning go back and relearn everything seeing it from the perspective of your adult self who knows better and lastly spirituality is important it helps you tap in your unconscious mind helps you connect all parts of your body from the emotional, physical, psychological part. Thanks guys for this topic I'll definitely be checking out the pages you suggested

Absolutely love these talks as usual elevating and so engaging....there is nothing like listening to men discuss such topics and have so much depth and understanding even if you don't quite fully grasp it, the effort and willingness show. You shd definitely do those letters even if Oscar thinks he will not be good at it, his articulate nature should come in handy.....

Very insightful. Love the way you are setting the stage for men to talk about feelings...something women talk too much about. This could bridge the gap, minimally. Kudos to you brave soldiers! 😍

I'm totally loving your content, every single episode is a learning experience. Been here since you guys had 150 subscribers and the growth is just on another level, keep up the great work guys!
A lot of guys who practice self love, from my experience, actually turn out much better than those who do not in terms of how they relate with others. And I love how you put it, self love is about knowing your worth without making a compromise and independent of other's opinions. Some may confuse self love to being selfish but in reality it makes you more open to having better relationships and also uplifting others.
As for the letter writing, I've tried a couple of times using a site called futureme.com where you write yourself a letter and it emails itself back to you after the period you've specified; like a day, week, month or year, and honestly it has helped me to be more kind and more aware of myself. You should actually try it out. And Oscar, as a fellow former Busherian, keep your word😂💪🏾💯...

"...a concept that is often misunderstood". So true! I have written a book on the topic and sometimes I feel so judged; so much so that this almost gets me to the corner of questioning myself. Learning to love myself and being deliberate at it every day however still remains the best thing I have ever done for myself; and believe it or not, for the world.
