I did a video on purpose after we (our bookclub) read the book "A purpose driven life" by Rick Warren. What was striking for me was that our purpose is merely for God's mission to be accomplished through us. Our purpose means that we need to be He's agent here on earth. Our purpose is to assist Him in helping others and focusing on all that you were meant to be here for. Your purpose is not about being a Dr etc that's a bonus in life so you can enjoy the journey. Your purpose is to worship then all else will follow anyway, and automatically will be given unto you.
I also read this book. I absolutely do recommend people to read it including Mpoomy. Your perspective will change on how we look at the purpose topic and you get to learn the 5 purposes that God has put us on earth to fulfill as believers.

This is What I realised in my journey Finding purpose is harder because we think first of having tools to use before being what we want Ever since I started doing TH-cam I realised that True purpose is the one that Stands all sorts of challenges like recognition and profit making I use my phone to make my videos and ever since God has been making my journey bearable every single day God is willing to help us start with what we have and just express our purpose with joy, love and peace
Great wisdom from aunt Gail. This video could not have come at a more perfect time. After years of living up to other peoples' expectations, I sank into depression and just told myself this isn't life.It is not the way I had envisioned life for myself. I had conformed to other peoples' idea of life that I forgot who I was and how God created me. I allowed peoples' views of me to shape me and not realizing that I was hindering myself at the same time. In 2017, I was halfway through my course and saw that this course was not for me and by continuing I would end up in a job that I hate and would just be living in existence, not in purpose. I dropped out last year and these past two years have given me a chance to see what I'm capable of and it has been a refreshing journey. I am starting to see my purpose, have learnt to accept myself and that I can contribute to society in my own way. Most importantly, I connected with God and saw how he has made me not to be mediocre nor to conform. I have decided not to pursue a full qualification as I feel it will interfere with my calling. I will do short courses instead because the tertiary environment is not meant for me. I will be 28 this month and God has shown me that I am exactly where I'm supposed to be at the moment. I am not pressured by age as I trust what God is doing in my life.This video has reaffirmed my faith and I won't let anyone nor anything come take away what God has put inside of me.

Been battling with this for 4 years, especially when I reached matric and once I started varsity I neglected it but this year it catched up with me when my mom asked me what's next at the beginning of the year. I've had reached a point where I finally understand the distinction between talent and gift in my own life and how I can reach the gap to let both to fall under my purpose. Thank you Mpumi
