- Hey Guys. I'm Digging Up my Tulips, Hyacinth, and A few Alliums today. I have learned a lot about Springs Flowering Bulbs planted in Fall. I want my yard to be lower Maintenance and I have decided Tulips will no longer be going in my flowerbeds. Hyacinth are easy to dig up along with the Alliums so they are suitable for a low maintenance bulb in your flowerbeds. In this video I have a lot of work cut out for me and I will explain the pros and cons of these beautiful spring blooming bulbs and where I will be planting them next year for greater ease. Thanks For Watching! Zone 6b

Yooo I just subscribed. I dug up two lilacs that are small and tall. I want them to grow wider versus taller.
When do I cut these little lilac trees down to about 12"? They have never flowered yet. They're currently 3 ft tall.
