From your description of the three pin components between the controller port and the main ic I'm pretty sure they are transistors (I previously thought they were dual crowbar diodes. Basically they are configured as an open collector buffer on each input to protect the main ic from esd damage.
I know it's random but have you ever made the schematic for the RGB signal from the Sega Genesiscuz if so you might be able to make a HDMI mod board for it in the future. Or atleast make the plans for one
@@RETROGAMINGARTS well if you look up a video about a HDMI rpg mod for a Genesis. There's nothing. Like literally. So if you want another video that may pop theres one opening. I looked. It's convenient too cause with HDMI upscalers the system ghosts(like double the image). Wanted to point out something for you since writer's block happens.
Hi idol, good day. I dont know if this message will reach you just want to try & im hoping you will read my message. Im winston from philippines & having problem with my ps4 console. Ive watched your video on youtube on how to fix my unit & i want to ask question regarding this matter. Recently about 2days ago my unit start to pop up a message saying "temperature too hot turn off after temperature goes down". So i did turning it off then play back after an hours. Now the bigger problem comes this morning the unit wasn't turning on at all. Trying to turn on it again a couple times this day but no more power comes on my unit. My question is: is there a chance that my unit will fix if ill clean it? (Because ive never been clean my ps4 since 2015.) Or i have to bring it to repairman to fix my unit?(which is impossible right now due to community lockdown). Thank you idol i hope you respond my message so i know what will i do & ease my problem a little. Thank you idol & good day & good health.
Clean it will help, however it sounds like you need to replace the thermal paste, I don't have a video about this but its VERY easy to do and I know you can do it. This will have a large chance of fixing your issue
Hello, I was wondering if you're still taking ps2's to be region free modded? I tried messaging you on facebook but it seems your account is hacked. I messaged you on twitter too.

Are you going to pimp the controller with lights and make it wireless?
Na na. Im going to build it inside of a handheld shell with a genesis inside, like a nomad
Those chip pins are really thin, u a pro handling that pulse.
