Wow, I know it's all about personal preference - but it's crazy how opposite we like stuff! I got the 27" version of this monitor a few weeks ago, and I straight away cranked up the sharpness and contrast to max, and took the gamma way down, as well as the colour vibrancy( because the contrast increases those when you turn it up) Out of interest I'll give your settings a try to see if it looks nicer, as I've found sharpness and contrast work great for games, but not so much watching stuff on streaming media if it's not 4K.
I tried to give the MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD Xbox edition a shot because I was hoping it would be better than the regular version. I ended up going back to the BenQ EX3210U, It just works better and the brightness is better for gaming at night. The MSI monitor is just too bright to use in a dark room, It was causing me to have eye strain and giving me migraines. I love the BenQ monitor, I wish it had better contrast but I use my OLED tv to watch movies and shows so for me it's not a big deal since I only use my monitors for gaming and watching TH-cam.
Well, these new models have features like 4k120hz, more picture settings, better sound... picture wise i think the EX3203R is better, it has better black levels and contrast, even the newer model (EX3210R) is not as good.
Problems is the TV's C2 42 and 32' monitors are too close in price. To me the C2 is the better option. And I use a 28' monitor. I'll get the 42 on Black Friday.
I just looked at it, since last year I wanted to get the MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD but it has been out of stock until now, it seems to be the same as the xbox edition just different design and cosmetics, but the monitor looks fantastic. I want it now LOL.
out of the BenQ and MSI, I would choose the BenQ, It just seems to work better. The MSI also has some sleep mode issues where it doesn't always wake up and you have to turn the monitor off and on again to get a signal. The MSI monitor is definitely brighter if all you care about is brightness, Then it's a good option.
Would this monitor be a choice for console and pc gaming? I'm thinking about getting it. I would love a 32 inch OLED monitor, This is great option in the meantime though.
Just for the PS5 not PC again saying just for the PS5 not PC (I only Play Warzone,Modern Warfare Multiplayer and other call of duty games) would you prefer this over the LG GP950,Sony M9,Asus VG28UQL1A,Samsung G7 S28, If not which one would you prefer only for the PS5 out of all of these?
@@ethanhill1590 Yeah it’s definitely a lot need tweaking. I am gonna dig into it more tonight after work see what I can do. I have no idea how to enable freesync or what that is lol Was gonna return it but I threw away the box so I’m kind of stuck now. My other BenQ 1080P was easy to set up

Are these settings also good for the Benq mobius ex2710u monitor? It is a smaller version of the 32 inch. Let me know, thanks.
I await your response.
I am considering buying this monitor but was kind of anxious about the settings, thanks for your great explanations !

How do you find this monitor these days? Still solid? Or have you moved on to a different monitor?
Hi dear, I am unable to choose fps, rpg, and racing... So I basically don't have the same options you have any ideas?
How’s the ghosting on this monitor
HDRi is by far the best setting if your console HDR is turned off. Great black levels and if you increase brightness you dont lose any details at all
Great Vid Joel like always! Quick question: is there a huge upgrade between this monitor to the 32 inch EX3203R? That’s the one I own.

Why Can’t i use custom color mode in my ps5 ? , the monitor just appears 3 modes only .
How do I fix screen going black for a few seconds when starting a game ???
do games look pixelated on this monitor games like far cry 5, new dawn etc..
Have you looked at the MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD? They have a new Xbox edition that I'd like to see some more info about.

Hello Craig, thanks for leaving a comment 😊
Yessss 32 inch Oled would be perfect
I've got this for my ps5. Is it better to turn off HDR on ps5 and then enable it through the monitor only? Or.do you have HDR enabled on ps5 as well??

Hello, how did you enable freesync?
It does automatically when you active it from the PC or consoles.
Hey man! I just got this monitor but I will use for my PS5. How do you enable freesync premium?
bro i jus got it and i’m so confused how to turn stuff on and my colors look so washed
