hi! Have you modified something in the exhaust? I'm asking because I've watched some videos about the same model and the exhaust had a pretty much quiet sound, which is very weird for a car like this. The sound of yours is much more befitting to a Maserati and a Ferrari engine. Cheers!

I removed the mid muffler but kept the X pipe. Also I think the second two catalytic convertors may have somehow fallen off in that process ;)

I watched the dbw installation video also. How long would you estimate it actually took you to install the unit, including the switch in the console? Have a mint black 2005 gs Coupé with only 11k miles.Thanks!

we own both cars and can honestly say the maserati 4200 is more of a sports car.
the coupe is much more solid on corners and does not have a problem, the engine is a work of art. I would recommend that anyone should grab the car now as price is creeping up now, it's the last and best true maserati with no parts from a dodge dart which all the maserati cars no have. the Americans now own part of maserati so they will cut costs. this car gives me chills every time I drive it.

Seems to be less. It engages quicker/firmer for sure. We'll have to see how it goes but so far so good and I beat the snot out of it lol.

Hi From Australia. Looking to purchase a Gransport very soon. Looking for some advice if you don’t mind. I understand the GS already has a better shift than the older coupe so will the DBW work just as well or better? Do I need to purchase a tune as well from formula Dynamics or can I get a custom tune in Australia or a flash tune. Exhaust wise , should I just do a secondary cat delete , resonator delet and X or H pipe, do I need to mod the mufflers as well? I would like to lower the car a little as well and maybe some wheel spacers. Is the GS worth the extra cost over the normal older coupe ? Thank you so much for any advice. Dom.

Few questions from a former Maserati technician.
1. How many clutches have you put in the car since ownership?
2. Who's managing the PIS and Kisspoint when you need to retune the the transmission/clutch?
3. Has your heater core started leaking yet?
Edit: You should have left the intake gold...
