    This was my old car! The colour is Grigio Nuvolari. The cats collapsed so I replaced them with 100 cell sports cats. The rear boxes were Quicksilver performance boxes.

      Hey Mark,
      Great to hear from you, thanks so much. I knew the exhaust didn't sound standard. Great upgrade and absolutely love how it roars :)

      I know it's been a few months, but curious if you had actual links/details on the exact setup this had? Thank you!!

      @@Foxtechconsultants Exhaust wise, it had 100 cells sports cats, not sure if the H pipe was on it still (failed mot’s for being too loud) and Quicksilver back boxes.

      Gorgeous car, I have a GranSport with Larini decats, Tubi exhaust, ECU Tune, drive by wire and front/rear modified sway bars….hold on…this car is a blast.

    At the 7:10 mark you mention the sound. I had CC on and it said music. Even AI knows that beautiful engine note is an opera

    That’s my car! Same colour combo, Nuvolari on Cuoio. Oh no wait, the steering wheel is on the other side.
    I looked for 3 years to find the right one, used it as my daily for years, now been mine for the last 10 years. Currently sorting the sticky plastics issue, this one will definitely need it.
    That engine is just intoxicating, rushes to the red zone like a mad animal and even looks beautiful (open the hood next time 😀). The gearbox is perfectly useable if you keep in mind this is a manual box with a normal clutch, only actuated differently. Never use auto mode, don’t let the clutch slip as if it were an automatic, move to neutral before it shifts 2-1, and you’ll be fine.
    Quite a loveable car this is

    Hello, friends…I’ve been going around to a lot of these videos trying to explain to people that they need not be afraid of these cars. Been a happy owner since 2007. In addition, I’ve added several Formula Dynamics modifications. Bottom line is, buy a well maintained one…these cars are starting to creep up in price….normally aspirated Maserati V8s are no more. If you want Italian flare and engine that pulls like a freight train…pull the trigger. I have the Larini decats and after market Tubi exhaust and she screams…very very loud. A lot of people, the majority of people have no clue what these cars are or are capable of. Find a good one, drive it, experience it and never get another German car again.

      You are spot on. There is scaremongering amongst all car models amongst enthusiasts. Buy on condition and enjoy putting miles on it

    Didn’t these have issues with their clutches? Like 30,000mi replacement for $10,000? 1/7 of the cost of the car new at the time?

    • @InvictusMotors
      @InvictusMotors  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a costly replacement

    • @dannydaniels7360
      @dannydaniels7360 ปีที่แล้ว

      More like 4K to 6k and depending on how it is driven… don’t let the clutch slip! Run in sport mode always… avoid reverse

    • @marcodalli5045
      @marcodalli5045 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its 2.800 euro to replace, but if you drive it properly and understand how to use the F1. Paddle, it could last a very long time. Problems come along if you don't follow Maserati s instructions on use which they would always hand out to you when you purchased one from them, very old school, but cool.

    • @ChicagoItalian
      @ChicagoItalian ปีที่แล้ว

      Only shift at 4k RPMS and above and purchase the Formula Dynamics drive by wire.
