The interior was one of the main reasons I chose this car. The interior looks much nicer than the Maserati granturismo, Ferrari 360 or lambo Gallardo.
You'd really have to go f430, 550/575 Maranello or later to get nicer interior
It's difficult to appreciate on video but the interior has so much leather around you, it's a real nice place to be. The rear seats look strange but when you sit in them, you sink in and it feels cozy and usable even for an adult (obviously not as nice as s Quattroporte or other 4 door, but far better than most other 2+2 cars)
The wizard here says the rear seats are very small, but you need to sit in them to appreciate that they are actually very comfortable and much more spacious than you'd expect for a 2+2.
Without sitting in them they look small and uncomfortable for sure
Having said that, rear seats on a granturismo are probably more comfortable, but the rest of the interior (from test driving a few) is just uglier and doesn't feel near as special

I have the same car but a Spyder. I did the same mid X-Pipe Larini mod and ALSO changed the front factory ""squashed" cats to the Larini free flow ones - BIG difference in not only sound but increased torque - those squash factory cats are very exhaust gas flow limiting. These cars are hidden gems and with the F1 gearbox correctly sorted are great to drive at a low $$ investment.. plus they attract far more attention than the common Ferrari.. IMHO these cars are the "intelligent mans" Ferrari.

You can buy these in the UK for good prices,i love the inside of these cars, many cows gave their lives for these cars, there is leather every where, some jobs on these are pricey but for the price of the cars it's ok.

last July I bought a 2007 Quatroporte, very low mileage and a great price. Knowing the cost of having them worked on I am glad I am still capable to do my own work at 65 yrs and on Veterans Disability, I manage, slowly but manage. like that one in the video, it has the Ferrari Engine, but has the ZF transmission, which is all-around better than the F1 transmission. shifts quicker and smoother, it's a double clutch, were as the F1 is a single clutch I believe and needs changed at about every 5000 miles and not an easy job

The f1 clutch last between 10000 and 30000 miles , but yeah at some point you have to change it and it's more a less 4k$.

Interesting to hear about the mods. I’d like one of these but the throttle , cambiocorsa system and clutch wear/ costs are issues that could hold me back …

10:51 it is surely a very nice car but at the same time it is also a compact car that doesn't need much space

Hey Wizard & Mrs Wizard!! Thanks for the fun Maserati video!!! 🙂
I think that you should make the "little toilet" back seats functional 🤪

Meh I've been driving one for like a year and so far 0 problems, I don't mind taking a risk for a car this nice and cheap.

F1 pump issues are caused by relay issues causing the pump to run often and wear out. Not replacing relays in pre 2005 cars causes issues. The 2005+ had uprated relays. Clutches can last many miles. So overall, higher cost than a ZF but the rest of the GS is pretty reliable and clutch needs to be budgeted for

First of all, I enjoy your videos, but I really want people to know The stock car has fantastic throttle response, I really believe that what you have done apart from the exhaust is unnecessary, if you want faster gear changes , you just have to push the sport mode and most owners of this car have it on all the time, I have on mine , it's better for the clutch as well, it's an Italian muscle car, you are spot on.

I seriously looked at getting one these - but the manual. But after 2 years that turned into searching for an unicorn. Gave up in the end and purchased something different .
But there are times (like watching this vid) that I suffer some regret

I always wanted one. I know they are not reliable but Italian cars sure are sexy.... like Clarkson said” you’re not a true petrol head until you owned an Alfa Romeo”😀
Wizard your comment gives me hope that I could maintain something like this... I have decent skills , I work on semi trucks 😁
Thank you for a great video!
