Duck Punt sailing on Copahee Sound, January 2023

First time out with my Insta360 X3 camera. Just sailed around and got the hang of using the camera and punting at the same time. Also first time editing with Adobe Premiere Rush. Fun day on the water!
Launched at Gadsdenville Landing in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Sailed in Copahee Sound at mid tide and only scraped the bottom on a couple oysters.
Duckworks has free plans for this boat, which is simple to build and a total blast to sail.

It’s not easy. I ask myself why I want to make these videos. I don’t really know the answer, but I enjoy it. Next step will be to make some more mounting points for more angles. It’s a fun challenge to solve.
I’m jealous of your fleet of punts and punters. Is there somewhere I can download a file for the Dp insignia? I have some sticky Dacron. Any idea what the next sail number would be?
