Klass hes the first one mentioning 3 version of suspension set up, calibrated for malaysian driving, yesterday review come out, proton didnt want to say it… and its probably geely set up for our road, he lays thing on review now, bravoo!!
hmm...i disagree. German and Japanese cars are given us dull black or grey colors for the longest time until Chinese come along with new idea and colors and I love it. However Proton decided that we should go back to our previous masters. I am not asking for white seats or gold plated buttons, but at least give contrasting colors combination and not all grey color.
Wow, in the US the European vehicles gave some choices in colors but, I would usually choose black for that sport look, the mainstream cars offered black and beige (yuck) and again black was my choice. Took red when it was offered in the KIA Stinger and brown on the Audi e-tron. Don't really like the Tesla (or any manufacturer) white interior but, would do a light grey. I like the Zeekr X interior but, would also take another color than black. Xpeng G6 has light grey and Leapmotor C10 has a brown interior, those are on my list of potential picks in the future. I prefer a firm sporty ride over a soft spongy one and good handling. This car caught my attention as Geely has been benefiting from having Volvo, Polestar and Lotus in it's portfolio, some of their engineering should be in this one as well. If they did like Hyundai/KIA when they got former BMW M chief Albert Biermann, they could tune the car to ride and handle well. I would certainly be interested in getting one.
Hi, may I know how about rear seat thigh support? Is it good, moderate or bad? because many EV suffer from high floor which makes seting position not good. especially on the back
The issue you're referring to afflicts cars that are 'converted' to EVs from ICE cars, like the Mercedes-Benz EQA/EQB/EQC, the BMW i4/iX1/iX3, Chery Omoda E5, etc. The eMAS 7 was engineered from the ground up to be an electric vehicle and so it does not suffer from such packaging issues. We will cover more details of the car when it launches.
…at a value of 69% over its original price in China. Remember msian gov does not impose any kind of import duty or sales tax onto EVs right now… Pronet is having excessive profits which is absurd
I would buy this if it were an HEV with Proton's 1.5 TGD-i 3 cylinder engine. EV range anxiety is just not for me. And of course, tonneau cover and space saver spare wheel please. None of those tyre repair kit things. To those who want a full size spare wheel in their SUV, you just need to try lifting one out yourself (don't break your back). A space saver donut makes more sense.
even adults these days never changed punctured tyres before, not to mention lady drivers. perhaps you need to wait for Geely Galaxy 7 for DMI- model which, wait for it, just launched in China, But our Pronton/Geely next launch will be a B segment EV and perhaps Proton Saga and Exora. Me too waiting for DMI hybrid car. BUT i wont wait for Proton.
@@MalaysianMotoringThose kinds of speeds shouldn't be on public roads and run against the purpose of greening technology. I wish our gov would selectively give tax incentives for pragmatic, efficient EVs like BYD M6, dolphin, and the non-performance Teslas. If people want to buy sports cars, the gov shouldn't give them a break
I like this car. Good looking, not too over complicated like other car trying to be, but still look smart.

That's because we have confidential sources that maybe our colleagues don't have access to.
Literally loled at the mention of ice cream truck
It does. We're looking forward to the videos that'll come after launch.
Assalamualaikum saya hadir 😊 lepas ni kita beli Proton eMAS7 pulak 👍🏻 jangan beli Tesla lepas ni
saya nak beli tesla boleh?
@iamme2728 tak boleh sebab CEO Tesla Elon Musk tu penyokong kuat Donald Trump 😠
How to shift reverse gear

Ok.

This is the perfect family car for me softly sprung and spacious
We concur that the eMAS 7 makes for a great family car.

How is this sprung comparing to the geely ?
This is explained in the video.
Hows the range? Is it acceptable?
We covered that in our earlier video when we drove it from KL-Seremban-Malacca-JB-Batu Pahat-KL.
I assume this is a pre production car with a production spec and touches.
Not this one. Finalised, ready for launch.

Wait for emas7 phev, which is ori from geely starship7

Sure - nobody is forcing you to buy one of these. Perhaps a Haval H6 HEV would be better.
312Nm is ok, still within the boundaries of civility and most importantly controlability for everyday drivers...
That's the perspective we take with EVs. 3.8-second century sprint times are nice but, who actually cares?

First i guess?
Just cut the background music
No.
