The PID theory is the core of the process control but it isn't so easy to understand, manage and tune (or fine tune). Thank you for this video, much appreciated.

I would like to thank you for your videos. Coming with a CS degree, I decided to learn some plc programming. Looking at the pid function, it reminded me the way that a neuron in a network in machine learning adjusts its weight: Looping until the error is too low. I think the same math is used in both.
    Alles prima, mach weiter!

Great explanation. Thanks alot for your content, it is very valuable.
I have one wish, if you can explain how you did the simulation.
    Best regards

very nice but what's this trend view on the HMI ? how to do you set this thing up ? it's something extremely interesting in the industry. Can't see anything like this in your playlist...

Great simulator - it would be awesome if you could share with us how you would test a real world PLC program through various input/output simulations.

Hi. Can you please share the tia-projects you use in the videos as tia-archives? We love the content and pedagogics and think it will be even more useful if the watchers can try the projects out themselves... Thanks for some wonderful tutorials.

Hi Hegamurl, is it posible to manualy change the P and I and D values via the HIM control ?

    • @hegamurl7434
      @hegamurl7434  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes it is possible!
      1. Find your PID Controller technology object in "Technology objects" in you project
      2. Right click on it
      3. Select "Open DB Editor"
      4. Open "Retain" and then "CtrlParams"
      5. Drag and Drop "Gain" (P), "Ti" (I) and "Td" (D) to your HMI
      There you go!

Hi Nedaa, I've created the simulation... it is not 100% accurate from a system behaviour point so I don't really want to share it (my code is not the cleanest there^^). I can try making a nicer version, but that might take some time.
Additionally I've created it in TIA Portal V15.1 Professional using a WinCC Advanced Runtime... so you would need those two softwares incl. the licenses.
Let me see if I find a good way of sharing it... but it will take some time
