@@hegamurl7434hi sir, im testing to read modbus tcp from analyser , in the documentation its wrote the data sending in floating point but im received in hexadecimal 😂
Your videos are the best! I was praying that you would go back to Floating points... :( I have visited a lot of tutorials, but I think you are the best tutor that I have seen so far. You talk so slow and explain things. Top!!
A biiiggg thank for your effort to develop this tag table with all those data types. I've always wanted to have a overview of them in one spot. I haven't gone trough it in the help manual , just a glimpse in drop dawn menu while choosing a data type from my variables.
Really cool. About floating points, it would be nice to see some examples of doing some calculation with floating points, like dividing, to the power of, root etc. Doing some math. Thanks for your contribution. Its great.
Really good video. 20 min. long video is completely fine :) what are you thinking about videos from STEP 7 ver. 5... for example, can you make it sometimes? cause i think that could be also very helpful. BTW: your videos from TIA is very useful for me, thanks for that. Keep doing that ;)
i did declare all 5 basic data types but then couldnt see them in the asigment data list. i had already compile when i checked such assigment list. can anyone tell what i did wrong?
Hi, thank you so much for all your videos, it's helpful. I'm a beeginer and i'm working on a projet on Tia Portal using s7-1200,and i need to calculate the average for an analog input each 1 hour and keep the average values for visualize them on IHM. I tried with a small code SCL and call it on OB30 with 1s but it doesn't work. If you can help me i will be grateful. Keep going your are amazing.
The "old" timers have a dedicated adress area, because they were installed on a hardware level. The "new" IEC timers don't have dedicated memory areas and should be used instead
From 1 byte address, is it possible to group the bit as %I10.0 to %I10.2 as Integer, value range of 0...7 %I10.3 to %I10.7 as Integer, value range of 0...31 If it's possible, can I do it in the PLC Tags ? Thank you in advance
I kept saying to myself "He's going to go back to floating point, don't worry" 🙈
Keep up the videos.
Great work!
More on floating point? What do you have in mind... TIA handles most of what you could need 😅 Anything specific? Let me know!
@@hegamurl7434 i think he ment since you mentioned at 12:58, that "i will come back to floating in a second" and you never did :D
@@hegamurl7434 Unfortunately u missed that part :(

I was just searching about data types! Nice
Please add the floating ones in the next video! :)
I am new to Siemens and your channel is really helpful. Danke schon Hegamurl!

Awesome and enjoyable teaching style...Thanks for Sharing knowledge
Could you please give us some instructions on CONNECTION PLC tags which is communication between two different PLCs (MODBUS) ?
you are my hero.. really very good teacher. thank you so much..
Hey man, I'm watching your channel a lot, thanks for the great videos, and keep on such good work. You are doing a huge favor to all of us. Big like!

Very Helpful Content ❤
just want to ask when to use V memory instead of M such as MB0, VB0, MW0, VW0 and what's the difference, thanks.
Besten Dank für die Mühe von dir :).
Great video, like always. Can you make video about Supervisons ?
Can you put the download link for the program that you have entered all the data and use it in the video? thx
I learned a lot from this, coming from AB.
Thank you for your efforts!
Waiting for next video very nice easy to understand and please mention floating data type on next video
How would one know what data type to use when storing data?
Very informative video. Thanks!!!
What is the difference between the following:
DDT - Derived Data Type
DFB - Derived Function Block
UDT - User-defined Type
It an interesting topic,

Your videos are great and fun to watch. Are you also involved in programming microcontrollers using C?
Can you explain Pointers?

why do do the timers have ther own adress?
