LEGO Studio Workspace! I THINK IT'S AWESOME!

- In this studio update, I bring another load of stuff from the LEGO room! It is almost empty! I know the studio is chaotic, but my top priority is to get everything over here. Once I have all the LEGO and fixtures here I can start building the LEGO City, setting up displays, and fine-tuning my workspace. In this VLOG I clean up my workspace, discuss some ideas from the comment section, and much more.

Don't apologize. Its your studio. Set it up the way you want. For doing it mostly by yourself, you are killing it.
Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing.
😊👍👍
Could not have said it better myself
Anyone commenting that it's too messy or chaotic has likely never had to move themselves. Plus, your's is a unique move. Looking great so far!
Exactly. Even when you are just organizing your basement or something, there’s gonna be times were it’s messy before you out things were they need to go
Every workshop look that way to outsiders.
Exactly!
Fr
You are almost there.
And you are right it's your space and you can do what you want.
But I know you make the changes if necessary.
You are at the end stretch.😂
Jordon, you are amazing! Please don’t let people bring you down. It’s your studio, design it the way you want it. You have inspired me to make a Lego room. Thanks!
I agree, the studio is amazing and even if it wasn’t, it wouldn’t matter if he liked it
Agree 100 percent. The studio is excellent
Mr Bricksie, no matter what others say, you are the builder, the designer, the ambassador, they are just spectators, your standard and esthetic is what has brought them here in the first place. You are living the Lego dream, I like your style .
You must be working like mad to not only making the studio amazing, filming and editing, buying & selling, streaming plus having kids. I thank you and Mrs Bricksie for making this channel and contents. There are people who understand how much work you both put into your business. Thanks ❤
I stumbled onto your channel a couple months ago, and you’re the reason why I started building legos. Don’t mind this negative comments, your new space is looking amazing, and I can’t for it to done and built. I’m here for the ride! And now my wife wants me to build a Lego city because of your videos 😂
You’re doing an awesome job. I’ve been enjoying your channel for a while. Enjoy every episode. Always can’t wait for the next. Keep doing what you’re doing
Haters are always going to hate. I put it down to jealousy. Your new studio is amazing and you have done so much by yourself. Moving a house is stressful, moving the amount of lego that you have would do my head in for sure!! I love your updates and love seeing what you are doing in your new warehouse. Ignore the negative nellies, keep doing what you are doing.
Bricksie, you said it best. It’s your Lego and YOU can do what YOU want with it! Just remember that. Studio is looking Amazing!!
Right. He can. But it’s a public forum so people can comment.
Absolutely right. Comment all you like.
14:31 I swear everytime you move like that I fear one of those sets plummeting to its doom lol
If your kids can run around and not bump into anything then is not cluttered. Studio is looking great.
Oh man. The drive and effort involved in getting to where that studio is in a month or so is intense... and putting out daily videos while doing it! Man, I wouldn't take those negative comments to heart. Those folks are likely not at all in tune with the complexities involved in accomplishing significant things in life. Your hard work is paying off. The place looks killer and has come along extremely quickly. I look forward to following the evolution of your studio setup.
It took years to get where you are today, the new Lego space will take time. Have fun with this! I love watching the renovation/moving/set-up videos!😊
Jordan, I don't ever want to criticise or even critique you. I get so many excellent ideas from you. You do things I wouldn't otherwise have thought of. You're such an inspiration. Also, your positive energy rubs off on me and makes me want to be more productive in my own life. I never, ever understand people's desire to be overly critical and unkind. What on earth are those people getting out of it? Thank you for your continued inspiration. I highly value your vlogs and wouldn't ever want you to stop being you. Best wishes to the family xx.
I for one have enjoyed this moving portion of the new studio move. I like interior decorating and enjoy watching these design type videos for the studio
That's a GREAT use of the rolling table! Not only are you getting things done - but you are showing how the rolling table will help.
Let the haters hate. You know what you want. And you'll never know if you want things unless you try it out.
I have flipped houses for years and one thing I learned is - don’t let people see it until I’m done. People come in and give their opinions and criticisms and they aren’t putting their money on the line. That can’t be done in a TH-cam vlog situation but if you have a vision, ignore the negative feedback. You are doing great. The amount you got done in the time frame you did, it has been great.
It’s gotta be so satisfying having that much more space to move around and work.
I’ve been enjoying the entire conversion from warehouse to studio and look forward to seeing the city come together.
Can't wait to see the massive city built!
Brother… Don't worry about any of these people. You're doing fine. You're going to hit 1 million soon. Your ideas are all good and solid. Don't worry about these people. You definitely have your sh*t together. Tell all these Hosers to take off!!
My husband is an AFOL, and we are watching from Western Australia, and loving the transformation, to the point where we wait up at night AWST just to watch the latest instalment! It's a HUGE job, planning, doing, humping & dumping! It's looking great. I'm sorry to hear you are getting negative comments about this massive process. I have a couple of constructive comments - one is regarding your sit/stand desk - I think if you set it to the sit level, and place it behind the sofa, it will look neater, in line with the sofa. You can lift it to standing to use when you want to. My other suggestion is to move the Concord to the far right hand end of the Billy bookshelves - that way it will take up less space and look like it is about to launch. I like your idea of some lamps for softer lighting. Make sure you keep up your fluids, you get so busy you probably don't visit your cute kitchen often enough! Hi to Mrs Bricksie & the kids 🙂🙂🙂
When your tables are built and you’ve got your sets off the floor, you should send a picture of the room to the mural artist. I’m sure he’d love seeing his work in context of the Lego city.
Jordan don't let negative comments get you down! i know the frustration always remember to do what makes you happy and at the end of the day when you are happy that is why we follow you because we love seeing what is new in your lego journey you've always iterated and adjusted and changed alot of over the years and its been a blast seeing your business grow and you are a part of why i collect and am entustiastic about lego today. just remember that people think your doing a great job me included keep doing what your doing and keep doing what makes you happy!
This is honestly the dream scenario for avid collectors! Being able to have so much space to display. It looks amazing
I never comment but feel like I should this time. I know it's hard, but you should really not listen to those negative comments. It's your space and you can do what you want with it. You're true fans will appreciate what you are creating. Those other people are just keyboard warriors who thrive on putting others down. Keep up the great work bricksie. Your videos are awesome and I look forward to them every day.
I’m so glad you talked about the comments you’ve been receiving, I hope people will be more kind towards you because you’ve done so much hard work! 🎉 keep going strong 💪 you know about your studio the most and all the changes you’ve done are looking amazing!
Please don’t feel that you need to make any excuses to any viewer or deem any comment as worthy of addressing. I’m new here, but boy, I’ve never seen so many critical comments. We are here to just share in watching your journey-we aren’t involved in any way.
You are 100% justified in simply making the videos you want to make and never address nonsense in the comments.
I enjoy your videos just as they are, with you simply sharing your journey. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
DONT even give the people complaining about the space being cluttered the time of day to even mention them… they are just jealous plain and simple.. just like all of us are lol I think your upstairs setup is my lego dream hangout build spot!!!
Bricksie you can be certified for Ikea Quality controll at this point.
Your Studio is amazing and first of all its “Your” ! 🔥🔥🔥
Please continue to share your process thought of creating your Bricksie Ideal Lego studio to give us ideas and tools for making our own ! 🙏 ❤
Stay true to your design of your studio. There will always be negative nancies. You’re working so hard & achieved so much. It’s looking great.
Don't let the comments get to you man but if I can give some advice... you cannot stop the internet. Giving their comments any time of day just feeds the problem. You're killing it man and loving the new studio.
Seeing all of the Legos spread out on the floor - and realizing all of that PLUS the stuff upstairs was all shoved into your basement is insane! Plus, you were running a business (not video) out of the same area!! Congrats again to the Bricksie family!
Mate …. It’s hard to understand how you could spend one second getting upset over petty TH-cam comments. This is coming from a heartfelt place dude.
Look how far you’ve come.
You’ve inspired me and so many others, and when most fall off you bought a building and upped your game.
I feel like most of the comments saying it’s too messy have NEVER moved before. I just moved and it was a NIGHTMARE for a month. I love the space you’re creating and I can see your vision for it. Keep your head up man you got this! Also if you need a day off you deserve it!
I totally get your moving, people don't get that, they just wake up to cry about something. I think this room looks soooooo good. The upstairs looks super cozy and fun, not cluttered. Wish the best Jordan!
I love everything you are doing! This is YOUR space. And anyone who is complaining about it being cluttered has obviously never moved!
I am going to borrow a few of your ideas 😁
The best thing about moving, organising and upgrading your space is the destruction and chaos you get o create before the order and organisation at the end - people just enjoy the process!
I love the way you are doing your studio and have really enjoyed watching it transform. I'm really glad you stood your ground with the negative people. It's your studio have it whichever way you want it. I would love to have a space like you have to build Lego. It's awesome and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the city shapes out, as I'm sure everyone else is. Keep up the good work, we love it x
Don’t rush. Take your time. These videos are amazing. I am sure the studio will evolve over the years.
I like the sit/stand desk right where it is, a nice space for assembling sets while you watch hockey in the background, it’s exactly what I would do with the same space, I think the loft space is starting to look really good.
I love your Lego studio. It is literally a dream Lego space. I can’t imagine a better one now. Also can’t wait for the city to be started. And a full room tour at the end of 2024 😃
Don't let the negative stuff get to you. Youve done an amazing job, a billion times better then I could have.
Jordan, this is YOUR studio, you have cultivated your own vision for this space, and what you’ve achieved is nothing short of incredible. Seeing it some together is a real joy for us, criticism doesn’t really belong - because it’s your space. What you’ve done is AMAZING, keep it up at your own pace. I can’t wait until it’s time to place all your sets!!!
You’re building something great and with your special signature. It’s a process and love watching the progress. Screw the haters, they need to get a life, because you’re doing yours in front of everyone… keep after it.
You are doing a fantastic job Sir! I must admit, since you started this project, I have been glued to your channel to see every step of this process. You always do amazing things. Follow your intuition, and don’t even address the haters!! They are not worth the time or breathe! This is going to be an Amazing studio very soon. I hope one day to see it in person if you open it to the public for viewing! I’d buy a ticket to see it! Sending good vibes from south Louisiana! Keep Grinding!!
I love the studio Jordan! Keep doing your thing, the loyal ones will always be here to watch!
First of all, I want to thank you for all the minifigs I bought on Saturday. Second of all, you have a place that most of us envy, so much room to display your bills for the rest of the world to see. Enjoy what you are doing and don't let anyone take away your spark.
The studio and your work ethic are amazing. I also want to say "Oswald" Mini arrived Friday and made my Son In Law very happy. Thanks for a fun WhatNot Con!!
A couple nice warm floor lamps should do the trick for your eye issue! Plus provides a nice chill atmosphere!
If I were to create my LEGO dream environment, this would be it! Thanks for living the dream, Jordan!
Brother don't listen to the haters. Some people just need to complain because their life is crap. The room looks great and even it didn't as long as you love it that is all that matters. Keep up the great work! Not only do we love you but more importantly your family loves you and it shows every time we see them. Thanks for all you do
Just a thought, why not make a dedicated shipping station in some of the below office space with shelving for packing materials. Also would stop you from having to carry such a large amount of packages up and downstairs.
I watch this channel because of your positive approach to lego and life. The lego room is always changing and with change comes a bit of clutter and chaos. Never doubt that you have stellar organization skills. an eye for design and lego placement! I have learned to trust the process with your vision as you always tie it together nicely. Though you are kind enough to listen to our feedback; I hope you never forget you are the professional and to trust yourself. You have gone far in this channel because of your vision! Great job on new place and thank you for taking us on the journey! Super excited to see what your creativity brings in the next couple on months!
Hey Bricksie, have been watching your channel now for a few months. It blows my mind that people are negative towards your builds and interior designs. Your new place looks incredible and I’m sure it’ll look even better once complete! Well done buddy and keep going! Watching from the UK! 💪🏻
It's amazing to see your new studio. It's amazing you've grown to such a big audience. I remember when you were still jordbricks. Your videos have given me such amazing memories. Thank you
Just remember to take a deep breath and remember you are exhausted and the comments might be hitting you a little harder because of that. Truly, in this day and age, it sounds like a 12-15 year old snide remark because they have no idea what it takes to do an achievement like this. You are doing great...it looks great...and anyone that owns a house or business knows you will never keep things the way they are as you are always changing your mind or better options come along that you never thought of before or even nice comments might stop and make you think "Wow, I didnt even think of that." So just take a deep breath and remember this is yours. You have worked so hard for this, and everyone has their own way of doing things. Keep your chin up and carry on!
It takes time and thought to move and organize your things. You are doing a great job. You put things and arrange all your Lego and furniture the way you vision them and it will look awesome. Great videos and updates.👏
How amazing that all of this fit in your basement! Love to watch the process and progress on the move, your passion for Lego is inspiring! Go Bricksie!
People just need to calm down. They should try and do what you are doing, it looks awesome.
You know what you are doing and you know what issues you may or not have and some of us have faith that it will be sorted. You have done more in these last few weeks than most have done in a lifetime.
Huge support from over the pond. Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
Everything looks great!! Just remember the old saying "everyone's a critic!". This your space and it needs to fit your needs. Would I do anything different? Sure. But it is not my space, it's yours! And it looks fantastic!!
Ha! You tell 'em...this is YOUR lego journey and we are tagging along for the ride - not the other way round...! Personally, I think this new studio is friggin awesome!!!
Don’t let anyone tell you what to do Bricksie! You are moving, moving takes a lot of time and getting organised in your new space even more so! Also you are filming and editing it all for us to see which takes a lot of time too! Loving your new studio space and can’t wait to see it develop. Thank you for your videos Bricksie!
You are AWESOME Jordan. Loving watching your journey. We are always so eager for 3pm (your upload time in the UK) for your next update. Loyal fan for over 2 years here.
I like the idea of the sit/stand table behind the couch. You can build while watching hockey.
You're handling everything great, keep being you and doing what you love!
I think you are doing amazing i know how hard it is to do everything youself it is not easy. You are smashing it and each day it progresses so much.
I think the lego loft is cool. I would be happy up there building and hanging out with friends.
Don't worry, Briksie, the true followers do not care about how it looks. They are following the step-by-step that you are doing and looking forward of the changes 😊 the people that likes to put you down, are the ones that have a sad life and have a hard time to find positivity in their own life. 😊 Continue your great work! 😊
Absolutely so very true! Brilliant way to look at this. 😊❤
I'm so glad this project is going so well for you. Everything looks great!
You didn’t tell me I get an autograph with my whatnot order 😎 also, enjoyed the behind the scene bits with you moving the Alex drawers and shipping orders
You're doing amazing. Things will change in time and you have loads of it. I am afraid you will always get the negatives but just know that 99% of us are behind you and want to support what you are doing.
Also i like the upstairs lay out with the desks and parts bins. Love the book cases behind the desk's with all the cars and colourful Lego behind it with the shelfs at table Hight looks great to me. I think you have done great with the upstairs layout personally. Just need to get the boiler room roof cover to put the space Lego on top then your really tidy and with it upstairs. Standing desk adjust to Hight of the rear bar of the sofa and leave it there with a chair? can be a build point for you and you can watch the game while building I would.
Bricksie I personally have loved seeing your evolution of your studio and the move It saddens me to hear people comment negativity. But I love your content and I look forward to watching your video every day!
Upstairs is your office...your work space. It should be controlled chaos at times. Don't sweat the bad comments. People are trying to live their lives vicariously through you. Your space your decision...love it all❤
I am really enjoying watching your videos of your move to the fabulous new studio, it is very inspirational. You have achieved so much, and should be very proud of how hard you work. Your channel is my happy place, when I want to go to shut out the world and the news and just enjoy the world of lego.
You are doing a great job. To quote the prophet of our generation:
"Haters Gonna Hate... (just) Shake It Off" -Swift
They are jealous of you, you are killing it!
Bricksie, might two 1/2 cabinets not be something, so you can space a full sized cabinet to the side and thus push your screen a bit more backwards?
Get some paracetamol at this place, Bricksie, that way you can more easily do with the headache, when they happen.
As for the light, put some tape on it, that dims them a bit, if you use the right type of type.
I believe painting tape might be what you want, there.
It's that or adding a dimmer option to their on/off switch, so you can turn down how much power they get.
On that, how much space is there between the beams?
Can they thus, be moved a bit upwards & sidewards?
Otherwise, mount some wall mounted light fixtures to the sides of those roof support beams.
That way you can install a more home like secondary light source.
Get a basket/crate for the envelops, bricksie, that way you can more easily move them to your car.
Now as for your Star Wars Show Room it's center table setup, can you put a table in the middle and use a glass/plastic plate?
That way you could create a center display option.
Heck, add in some bunker like doors to the side, in lego, replicate it on the other side and you could let it look like your clone army is moving outside, towards their transports.
Now, if it was not for the potential heat problem, I would know the perfect temporary location for your Eiffel tower.
That plate above your heater/cooler unit.
Anyway, looking good, keep it up.
Hope Mrs Bricksie and the kids feel better... will she be doing a vlog on renovating the basement!!! So excited for May the 4th sets too
That’s a great idea!
Yes we need to see that
Yes, I hope you do a renovating the basement video
Dude! Take your time!!! We like watching the process and the daily progress!! What’s the rush?! This is great content, keep it up buddy! Don’t listen to the negative comments, I’m sure you’ll move stuff around a bunch of times before you’re happy with the setup. So awesome man!
The new work space is YOURS... and it's cool... you will change and update it as you grow into the new studio its a process! Be safe and well.
Everything looks great to me, I'd absolutely love to have that space for Lego building. Great job so far, it's a blast seeing the progress.
I actually really like how the the upper studio is coming along! The only recommendation I would make is to put the expert mustang on the same shelf as Camaro, instead of the Aston Martin
The shelves with the cars look great!
It's really sad that you have negative comments about the design of your new studio. You work so hard and you live your dream (and btw maybe mine too, i would like a studio like that someday). Some people are so mean and cruel, maybe they are jealous but those comments shouldn't do exists, because it's your studio and YOUR dream, YOUR life. I love the new studio and BIG changes you did and will do. Great job, Jordan!! :)
The new studio is really coming together keep up the great work Jordan.
Your studio looks fantastic! You are very inspirational… good for you🎉 I’m enjoying your journey. Thank you for including me😅
For the Alex drawers, try to look up the part number for the old feet and do a replacement part request for enough to cover the new units. If I remember correctly, it's either free or they just charge shipping for the small parts - you do have to have saved your old receipts/emails though
Great Job Jordan!! I love the space so far! Keep it up and let your vision shine. I can’t wait to see the city set up!!!
just remember there is a lot of potential with the way you are setting it up and listen to yourself not the negative
@Bricksie I’m not one of those mean commenters just wanted to recommend furniture sliders instead of casters. I believe they’d work better on that kind of carpet. Either way keep it up and I can’t wait to see it all when completed.
I'm so sorry you are getting negative comments.. your studio is my dream studio. They are just jealous that you made it true. Ignore them and be proud of your hard work . Lego on.
haters will be hater pay them no mind. its your space and it looks awesome, its making me want to change some stuff up to make a lego room. so thanks for the inspiration.
As someonewho commented on the UV: We didn't comment that to annoy you, but to help.
You kept your stuff in the basement for so long that you might have forgotten.
Also it's important for other people watching your videos to learn about UV.
I've seen so much sun damaged Lego over the decades that it really annoys me.
Some people leave rude comments though and if you’ve been watching he’s repeatedly talked about covering the windows, I think a ”back off” response is understandable.
The problem with opinions...everybody has one...LOL. You be you, bro...that's why we come here. I think the progress has been amazing and I am still super jealous of all that space!!!🤩
I'm loving the way the studio is coming along. Those who are picking on your choices are probably just jealous. I think the shelving with cars along the wall behind your desks look cool. Its a big job. I packed up a house full of belongings on my own and moved countries (other than a moving company packing furniture). Its a big job by yourself. Your doing great. 👍
You are doing a great job so do it as you want. The fact you are thinking big and taking your Lego display to another level is just fabulous.
Don't take the comments to seriously. While their are good people who enjoy your channel their always will be people that'll drag you down. This is YOUR dream lego studio and you may do whatever you may like to it. I enjoy watching your daily updates and seeing the progress you make! By the way, I think the studio looks amazing!
Personally, I think I'd prefer some natural light over going full vampire mode (though that's also a valid choice) -- so to get natural light and safeguard the LEGO bricks I'd probably look into options around UV protective film that could be added to the windows. But you do what makes you happy. Can't wait to see how the city slowly evolves to use all this new space!
I’ve been loving this series, and the progress always blow me away! You’re doing so much while also producing daily content, sustain yourself and don’t burn out on this project - there’s gonna be more work to do, and I’m hyped to see it tackled!
You probably already thought of this, but when it's fully finished you could make videos about making a mini figure scaled MOC set of your Lego warehouse itself. Probably would be a fun build.
its coming along so nicely! Imagine what it will look like in a year. Your timeline and progress has honestly been insane.
I said this before you cleaned up too lol
