- In this VLOG I talk about the the plans for the existing LEGO room, take a look at some of the new Star Wars sets, build a couple cabinets, and connect some of the shelving units. Originally I thought I was going to be working on my LEGO Star Wars displays... but I got distracted by the basement renovation!

I grew up with a pool table and I still go visit my dad to play pool. It’s such a fun game and skill to have. It will be awesome to share that with your kids.
I love your plans for your family room. You’ll have so much fun together.
You don’t need to justify anything- a family room is for the whole family and it will grow with you- the twins will use the pool table when they are older- you are doing an amazing job- studio and family room will look awesome- very happy for you- to quote you”it is beauty” Happy May the Fourth🎉Lori and Craig😊
We had a pool table and put a removable ping pong table on top. Great having both options.
Plot twist: the real reason for the entire new studio was to reclaim the basement to play pool 24/7.
Just my opinion , I def wanna see the basement footage as well . I’m here for Lego , but Jordan does a good job at mixing it up .
The basement renovations would be great content for The Bricksies channel. I look forward to videos of you guys getting the couch and pool table into the basement. I bet that will be a fun time xD
Shopping cart is a good idea, big dump trucks are also great for them to load up, push around, dump, and go back for more. My kids had a mega blocks one to start with and a larger plastic Tonka that they played with for years
It's your home and you can decide what you want to do with it. Who cares what people online (including me) are saying.
I think your basement ideas are great and your content is awesome. I look forward to it every day.
I loved learning trick shots as a young teen (once I understood geometry a little) on our billiard table, your kids will love it as they get older, well a little taller, those big cube stool things are great for kids to stand on to play 😊
The kids don't really need a special area other than somewhere to store their stuff coz they will take over anywhere you and the Mrs are anyway 😂,
The basement makeover would be great content for the second channel
Or great content for this channel
basement remodel content is something I'm really excited for!
Everything is looking really good Jordan! I'm so happy seeing this whole process work out for ya 😊
May the force be with you ✨️
You should get a pool table if you want one!! But you should use up the whole big area. And get a small coch in the basement. Put tv and the small coch. In that little area off to your left. Were you had one of your tables for filming.
Looks great and live the basement plans. Again, your basement your prerogative.
Those Alex units you made, the left one, flip the door so it opensright-to-left to mirror the other side. And permit more unobstructed access compared to know with the stuff to the left.
The really cool thing about a TH-cam channel, is if you don’t like a video, you don’t have to watch it! The people complaining are going to complain, don’t let what they say affect your decision! You don’t even need to comment on it! It’s YOUR channel!
I absolutely know how you feel about the pool table. It's so much fun to have one in your house. Perfect for parties, good to play while watching sports. And it's also fun for the kids. I wish I had the space for one. Seeing it taped out on the floor seems like it should fit well enough, definitely better than some basement tables I've played on.
Omg I can't believe the energy you have!!
U living the dream Jordan! Cant wait to see all your collection in the new display!
We had a cheap, unlevel pool table in a much tighter space growing up and our basement was the one all my friends wanted to hang out at. Don't listen to the haters.
Feedback does not make one a ‘hater’. That is such an immature take on feedback and counter to the power of co-creation, brainstorming, constructive criticism etc.
Got my 5 minifigs this week from the Wotnot stream a couple of weeks ago. Amazingly fast processing and shipping to Australia! Thanks team Bricksie!!
Thank you Jordan, for another great content 😊
I love the new micro fighter
22:39 Brilliant idea! Keep em coming, you give great ideas.
We had a small pool table in a small space growing up and I have memories of many wonderful times playing with my family, especially my dad growing up.
Not seen the video yet but im certain its gonna be a vibe even before i have watched it, keep up the good work Jordan.
It would be super cool if you made a Star Wars room. All painted black with stars and galaxies . Hang some ships hanging with transparent line and have a planet scene in the middle of the room at you new studio. Your home is your home , maybe have a master bed room / privet downstairs for you and the wife❤ keep the kids up stars . Each having their own bedroom and a playroom upstairs❤❤❤.
He bro I watch most of your content you post on TH-cam. It's your life you don't need to respond to people trying to tell you how to live your life. You have a beautiful home and family do you and what makes you happy and your family happy that's all that matters. Keep up with the great content I love your videos ❤
time flies when you're having fun ;) studio is getting there, looking forward to the displays all setup
as a life long user of a basement pool table no matter how much space you think you have you don't. but that makes the game more fun. and short pool cues are your friend.
Hey fella. It’s your house, your basement, your Lego warehouse, you do you. It’s looking awesome. I used to play pool a lot when I was a kid at my uncles bar, it was great and also helped me understand angles, power and tactics. Don’t worry about the naysayers, there’s plenty of room for the twins, they’ll love it.
Jordan, your idea for a pool table is awesome and your kids will enjoy it with you. How do I know because my brothers and I are grown people and still shoot pool with our dad to this day! Been shooting pool with him for at least 20 years. It's all about the time you spend with your kids 😊
Bricksie deserves his pool table
Love the progress on this place, I'm an OG from your first basement when you reviewed the Falcon/Star Destroyer! FYI Leafs vs Oilers would be a dream finale. May the fourth be with you!
I love how he's sticking with his old format reviewing the sets and then displaying them even if they're all over the floor
LEGO, pool & pints are all good!
The pool table sounds cool. 🎉 😎
May the 4th be with you!
In a pinch you can use cardboard for a shim.
A pool table would be cool, we have a flip able one with air hockey on the other side, honestly we didn't use it a lot, only my brother and I would play air hockey, but then again our basement is a disaster too much stuff. Only clean area is where my lego table and display shelves are 😂.
I saw some new SW sets at my Walmart, that one Borc (something) set from the mando, a jet with ual light sabers, $39 or something, ridiculous, only looks worth at least $20
awesome video jordan the new star wars sets look amazing im happy you are getting a pool table
Excited for the basement reno as well. You’re gonna do a reveal when it’s all done right? I wanna see that sweet pool table, u need one of those stain glass lights over it…if money was no object it would be sweet to spell “Bricksies” in stain glass in it too :) n don’t forget the pool cue holder on the wall too!
After years I own my own building and got a pooltable and use it a lot even after 5 years I still use it so go for it!!!! You need a pooltable!
Have fun with the pool table!
I always wanted to have a pool table. Maybe they will give you a deal for a second one for the studio 😆 You the man, Bricksie
0:11 Took em long enough 😂😂😂😂😂. LET’S GO RANGERS!!!🎉🎉🎉
I’m actually hyped about that Rex microfighter
You do you Bricksie.
Awesome idea for a pool table. id get one for the Studio aswell lol freak content as usual
Yeah they did!!! Go Oilers, woohoo!
If I had all those silly heads I would put them in random places around the studio & put sweets in them. So I would never be to far from a snack. That place is massive! Looking great but massive.
Your doing a fantastic job!! If you have played pool in the past, and its always been your dream to get one, go for it! Life is meant to be enjoyed. Live it with a pool table. You deserve it!
I can’t get over how good that sky mural looks in the studio 💙 B E A U T Y
Just a question and a thought, isn't the point of the warehouse supposed to be your hangout spot? I mean you have a couch, microwave, fridge, TV plus all the Lego when she want to bring the pool table there?
I’m surprised you didn’t put in an air hockey table. 😂
Put the pool table in the warehouse and give the kids the entire basement.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 j/k
4:55 Just by looking at your basement, I can tell that you have plenty of space, for your family couch, and a pool table, I believe you said you wanted a seven footer. In my honest opinion, you could probably also fit an air hockey table down there. Which for any Canadian I would think as a must have.
An army would be neat
No reason to explain. Back in our 20's my friend had a pool table in his bsmt and I'm pretty certain the area was smaller than yours. We Had A Blast. He sold it when he moved but it was a not a regret.
Your the best❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love playing pool as well, but would it fit better over by where all the shelves were? freeing up your planned area for the kids cool couch/fort and have your old office area for all the toys? very jealous that your getting a pool table.
So now you can start to make the lego star wars room now move all the star wars lego in to the room instead on the floor
Maybe close the comment section if you are always gonna rant about the comments you get. Or ignore the ones you don’t like.
As someone who just bought the Venator for 500€, I'm happy that Captain Rex is in a microfighter. People deserve to enjoy a cool figure without a high bar of entry. I will also get the microfighter to display a second Captain Rex with my helmet.
May the 4th be with you
Hey Bricksie, as a Canuck fan I say congrats to you (Oiler fan) and see you in the next round! Woo hoo!! 🎉 👍
Nice gate, can it be combined with that Imperial Starship Hallway, like say as a blast door or so?
Because then you have a door to the ship it's hangarbay or some other place.
Add in that Imperial Throne Room (Death Star) set and thelook up the Eidolon class of Strike Cruisers.
You would need a bridge and a hangarbay, plus some other stuff, but you could make a very nice setup, including a garbage press.
Just think of the diorama you could thus create?
Now, will you get a nice wall clock for your place?
As for that pool-table, get a good cover plate, made from wood, that way you can always lay a puzzle on it.
I've once seen two tables, one was a puzzle table, the other was a pool-table, both in the same style & looks, both with wooden cover plates that let you use them as normal tables.
But no room to make looking into their prices, worth it.
So Bricksie, are you going to collect the needed pieces, so you can make several Speed Champions sized police cars?
Because I think it could be epic, especially if you added in a highway or so.
My dad had a pool table in my basement, and you bet your bottom dollar my siblings and I played with that a ton when we got older!
You are taking on so much as one person. This is such a huge project. Is there anyway you could hire someone to help for awhile?
A pool table in a basement in Edmonton makes a lot more sense than a pool in any backyard in Canada! -Atlantic Canadian😅
Hey, Enjoy your new pool table!!! Hey, it your money. Have fun and enjoy
3:52 Oh don’t listen to them! You’ll use it. I used mine, the only reason I stopped using it, was because while I was away on a trip, family members put a bunch of stuff on it right in the center of it, damaging it to the point it was unusable. That reminds me even though you’re getting a seven footer, which is what I had. make sure you get one with center legs. A six leg table will be far more sturdy than a four-legged and less likely to warp, which is what happened to mine.
Happy Star Wars Day! Anyone else watching a Star Wars movie tonight?
Hey Jordan can't you turn the pool table 90 degrees so that you can move closer to the couch and give you more room to all sides. Like you said you can have your cue stick over the back of the couch and just need enough room to walk between the table and back of the couch.
All my leaning forward bookcases and China cabinets have cardboard underneath to level them up. Never heard the term 'shim' before. I am very interested in seeing these.
Internet: Bricksie shouldn’t do anything with the new space for himself- me: looking forward to the new Racksie content
I’m secretly hoping to see the Lego city tables really be pool tables covered in melamine!!! Jk of course. Love the progress!
Out of curiosity why do you need the pax units in the old corner/area where old recording table and parts were at
I really like the fact that you have a clear vision of what you want the basement and the studio to look like - I appreciate your diligence and dedication to the task (great qualities). I like how the studio is coming along, especially the upstairs area - looks really cozy (maybe consider an aroma diffuser for soothing the stress of the day). It’s sooo annoying that you have to explain yourself all the time to the YT audience and justify every single decision you make. It is your life, your property, your money and the viewers just have to deal with the shocking fact that you’re not like all of them and have your own idea of life. It’s simple as that! The toddlers are so very cute! 🥰 Sending positive vibes!
Hey a idea world be to build big Star Wars diorama, like the ski resort and castles
Kids each need their own dedicated Lego room they are all going to be addicted to it with a dad like you. 🤣
You can use the cardboard as shims.
I love the pool table idea. As I said on the previous video in which you talked about it, I grew up playing on a full-size snooker table, first at my grandfather's place when visiting, then at home after my dad inherited the table when my grandfather passed. I could never get used to the angles and other differences on smaller tables, so I switched to chess (which I also learned to play from my dad) when I returned to college for a degree after a tech diploma and a couple of years in the workforce. I'm also loving the other plans for the basement... and wondering if those LEGO head bins I saw early in the video are staying there or eventually moving to the new space with the Artemis set.
Edit: And no, you don't have to explain any of your choices. It's your space. If someone wants to do something different with it, they can buy your house and do it themselves. 🙂
Just an idea 💡 💡💡💡🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥You can blend some track shelving into the clouds and have some plans displayed on them would look cool (and the up house on paradise falls!)
Are u going to get the new tournament temple city for the city
Well There goes the prized captain Rex fig 😂
I thought that you were going to do 99% of your reviews on Lego items at your new studio so is it going to be 50-50 home and studio??
This is Jordan’s channel. He can choose to do what he wants with it and his life. I don’t understand why the hate. If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it. Just because your behind a screen or device give u no right to be so rude.
In any case, good stuff Jordan. Like what YOU are doing with YOUR places. Keep on keepin on bro!
i hope you are getting a slate pool table mdf are not good at all i have had a few diffrant ones over the years and trust me you need to get a slate one
yes get a pool table they are the best so many fun games to play>
Hey Bricksie,
Just an idea regarding the pool table, instead of having it straight would you have more room if it was angled slightly. Just a thought
Hey man, you are killing it! I agree with one of the other commenters. You are always going to get people expressing their unwelcome opinions, but probably best not to give them any airtime. If you feed the bears, they will just come back for more. Enjoy watching your journey!
Yes. Ignore anyone who doesn’t agree 100% with you. That’s a mature way of developing and growing as a person.
I can see you are one of those people, but that’s cool. I didn’t suggest he ignore you. Just that he doesn’t need to mention you on his video as to magnify the emotional distress you cause him by commenting on his personal life. Have a great day!
HAHA you’re funny.
Did you make sure to move the Batman shelf into the room it needs to be in?
Batwing shelf
the Rex figure's fabric cauldron is inside out
IF you want a pool table , what color felt ?? Classic green or red ? Personally I would build a home theater . Dreamer
Heck yeah Jordan, enjoy your pool table. 100% agree the kids have PLENTY of space and they’ll enjoy that table playing with you like you said when they get a bit older and that’ll be faster than it seems!
Toys r us has a shopping cart set my parents got for my son
Lego needs to start doing Spaceballs the Movie themed sets.
You need to get the kids started at the pool table as soon as they are big enough. Nothing says physics like a pool table.
What would be awesome is chalk paint on that wall they patched up. It turns any wall into a chalk board the kids would love it we had one when we where younger
