My ENTIRE LEGO COLLECTION has been moved!

  • In this studio update, we finish moving ALL of the LEGO! Now the existing LEGO room is completely empty! In this video, we bring two van loads of LEGO to the studio. The loads include the mansion, ski hill, Death Star, AT-AT, Millennium Falcon, Brickheadz, Star Destroyer, and much more. After that, we clean up a bit and take a look at my entire collection! Once home, I take down all of the remaining shelving in the LEGO room and discuss the future.

Your (former) LEGO room looks SO SMALL now that’s it’s empty. Can’t believe how much you had crammed into that tiny space. Truly unbelievable. Congrats again on all the new space for your LEGO collection / business to finally breath!

Something you may want to consider... Instead of using a large piece of melamine to cover all the Ikea units for your Star Wars UCS display, maybe you can save money by cutting a smaller piece the will fit inside the units and attach Ikea legs or 4x4's to make it flush. You probably have some old melamine that you would otherwise dispose of and you wouldn't have to worry about putting new edging on the cut ends because they would be flush with the shelves.

On the pool table ... that's still a bit on the small side any way you place it. They're awesome but take up a TON of space. Mock it up with some Ikea tables and see how it feels trying to walk around it and line up a shot with a cue in hand. Maybe Foosball or bubble hockey instead.

Thanks again to Josee for helping and sorting out the stuff. And now the basement is empty, well most of it. The children will probably hope all the lego is not gone. It's funny seeing all the LEGO City buildings in the back room when the city is going to be in the main area downstairs. Seeing everything get organized and rebuilt in the new space will be fun. And the basement looks both bigger and smaller with everything moved out... empty spaces always look bigger, but at the same time it looks smaller because everything that was in it made it seem bigger too. I guess building Billys and tables will be the next couple of videos. 😁
Edit: A pool table is tough to plan space for. I grew up playing on a full-size slate snooker table (6'x12') that was originally my grandfather's, and my dad built an add-on to the home I grew up in specifically to accommodate the pool table. I never learned to play well on a smaller table, and haven't played since my 20s (I'm over 50 now).

25:14 I’ve owned a pool table, trust me that is plenty of space for a seven foot table. But I would think an Oilers fan such as yourself would be more into an Air Hockey Table. Although with the space I’m looking at, I think it would be possible to do both, as an air hockey table could go up against the wall.
