Her Mezzo tone and timbre are rare for a Soprano voice and her vibrato is simply unbeatable. Having said all that, I have followed Patricia Janeckova since she won Talentmania at age 12(Jackie was 10) and both of these precocious babies have come so far so fast it is really incredible what they have achieved. I believe Patricia is the next great Soprano superstar of this century. Her performance of Meine Lippen recently was absolutely phenomenal. The equal of Anna Netrebko in every respect.

I have been somewhat critical of Patricia in respect of her performances of Once upon a time in the West, and stand by those historical remarks, as I have yet to hear her sing OUATITW in 2020. I clicked on this Ave Maria clip having just discovered Helena Fischer sing it on TH-cam. I was curious to see how Patricia compared. A completely different tune to the more traditional version uniquely owned by Celine, but, WOW, this is STUNNING by Patricia, and I must not forget her age. Listening to this, I feel Patricia has progressed enormously. Her troublesome breathing technique of her younger days has been perfected, and she also now has the physical strength and lung capacity to see out the required long notes which she failed with in the past. This version is just beautiful and I feel that Patricia has truly arrived at her peak level, which we shall all enjoy, going forward. I cannot wait for her to perform OUATITW from 2020 onward. Thank you Patricia, a wonderful start to the day.

She had a pristine and egoless seeming voice of limpid purity. No other rendition of this is even close to the 17 year old Patricia.
