- Olga Peretyatko (soprano) performs Ave Maria, a work by the Soviet guitarist, luthier and composer Vladimir Vavilov. At the first edition the composition was attributed to an unknown composer, but later it was attributed to Italian composer Giulio Caccini.

У меня есть пластинка Лютневая музыка 16-17 век.Франческо де Милано.Фирма Мелодия 1972 г.автор почти всех произведений и исполнитель Владимир Вавилов как теперь известно там и Город золотой и Конь унёс любимого.Слова к этим двум композициям написал Анри Волохонский музыку как мы теперь знаем Вл.Вавилов.Гребенщиков и группа Аукцион являются лишь исполнителями.
Очень рад, что имя Владимира Вавилова стало упоминаться. Лучше поздно, чем никогда.
Вавилов гений и удивительный человек и композитор.
Спасибо за такт и бережность к этой небесной мелодии.

Russian composer Vladimir Vavilov *( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Vavilov_(composer) took the name of Giulio Caccini the barocco 17th C. composer for his Ave Maria that first he attributed to "anknown author"/ He also for his other works took the names of F. da Milano (Canzona and Dance), N. Nigrino (Ricercar) , V. Galilei (Suite for lute - Pavana and Galiarda), Jean-Antoine de Baïf (Pasturela), Denis Gaultier (Gavot) and many others....
