Marko Hietala is one of the most underrated artists of our times. "Just the basist" for NIghtwish he is an incredibly talented vocalist and one of the best song-writers in metal and rock. I'm really sad to see him leave Nightwish :(

The way his vocals (I am not saying "backup vocals" on purpose, in my opinion it was always an integral part of the song, as important as the female vocals, complimenting and complementing each other) added depth and power to NW songs, was superb. Every fan loved Marko not just for his bass skills.
Floor looks like an angel in white, She really is a gift from heaven and their embrace at the end had me 😭 They both looked so happy to be performing together again.

Marko announced his retirement from Nightwish on January 12 2020.. This may be the last time he and Floor have sung together.. That's a personal tragedy to me and quite possibly the world.. They're world class vocalists and harmonize so well together.

No doubt at the same time she’s intently listening to his performance. What beautiful, beautiful performers these 2 are. So much respect for each other.
