Every day there is a new post on rehoming sites of people giving kittens away for free because they ended up with a litter or found a litter in their backyard 😭 I've literally cried thinking about the fact that there are more cats than there are humans to give them good homes.

Oh man I'm doing this exact same thing with my cat and new kitten! I'm sure you know, but Jackson Galaxy is an awesome resource for this! We're at the free roaming stage but there's still hisses and bopping if the kitten gets too in her face. It took us about 4 weeks, so best of luck!! I honestly think adult cats are confused about what a kitten is for a while but they eventually understand!
