I have a 03 GMC Sonoma ZRX 2.2 liter with over 300K miles. It's hard to start it once it's been sitting over night but once it starts it runs great. Every morning I have to fight with it to get it started. I installed a brand new AC Delco battery because the guy at Autozone checked my old one and it was going bad. I read on a S10 forum my coolant temp sensor maybe cause the hard starts. Any suggestions?
I have had experience with fuel injectors leaking and causing that. I would suggest doing the cheaper options first which would be coolant temp sensor, then the fuel filter. mine ended up being that the fuel injectors were leaking so it would make it difficult to cold start.
@Lost Socket Motorsports thanks, about to go do this. Check engine light came on, also my temp gauge moves as I step on the gas. This is my first manual vehicle so I don't know if that's normal but my other cars the water temp stays in one spot/area but on the truck it moves constantly up and down
Thanks for putting time on making this vedio. I just bought 98 blazer Ls. Find out there's no wiring connected to that same coolant temperature sensor. And I have no clue where to connect it if I buy one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@@LostSocketMotorsports OK thank you!
invest in a tester and the knowledge behind the tester.
Can I follow the same steps in my 03 sonoma?
If it’s the 2.2 then yes
@@LostSocketMotorsports it's a 4 cylinder
@@skellingtonmusic170 then yes it should be the same.

@@skellingtonmusic170 do you know what the code for the check engine light was?
is this the same process in a 97?
I think it’s a little different, not much tho. Early version of the motor
Nice video that you make I have a question about your truck does your truck has pcv valve

if you look under the plastic intake manifold, that's where the main harness runs for that area. its probably tucked down in there some where
Thanks. Looks like yours is combined with the compressor wiring on same wire loom. Will have to pull the loom and see if it's there.
