I had such a good experience in showdown today. I was playing against someone in VGC and we basically ended up just rematching 2 more times and talking about each other’s teams before I got off to sleep. Glad to know there’s nice people in the community.
It is so cool to get your perspective on this battle because it's from kind of the coaching end of things. I'm a fencing coach, so have those same kinds of thoughts/feels when I watch my students compete. Love it. @@koragani916 Swampert. Blaziken is one of my favorites, but buff boi mudfish swampthing is the best design to come out of the Mega Evolution mechanic. Being able to punch through a dump truck isn't anything special for a lot of pokemon, but Mega Swampert is one of the few that actually looks like it could do it.
As someone relatively new to VGC, I really enjoy these throwbacks and how you talk through them! I find it very helpful to see former metas; especially as mons continue to be patched into DLC formats to come. You’re the best, man!
The recent events may be saddening to hear about, however alot of hard feelings that were weighing people down also opened up which is great in the long run for the community as a whole amd for individuals. Stay blessed my fav youtubist 😊😊😊

Aaron was the person I first really got into VGC from, and I basically have only seen the community through the two of you and the official streams, so everything going on right now is new to me. I just wanted to say I'll support you whether you're making content or competing or whatever, and hopefully your own community can be a good influence on Pokemon as a whole to change for the better. I know that we in the Pokkén community are going to be making some really good changes, and we won't stand for any harassment that might be happening at Pokemon events.
