Cars worth 30 grand as is to the right person.
By the way Patrick have you ever ran across one of these chevelle owners who were perhaps misinformed and thought that they knew all about these cars? In other words have you ever had to school someone who didn't know what they were talking about? Would love to hear any of those stories you might have.
Great find as usual Patrick....appreciate your love for these cars and all the hard work you put into bringing us these videos.

My god, the lines on this beauty are perfect. That is one nice Chevelle. Very rare to find one this straight and nice. I would bet it has never been wrecked. Man I would love to have that baby .... The right side front bumper needs adjusted, and tucked in straight .... ......

Always excited to watch these videos. Not often do I spot things that the videoer doesn't point out. I spotted the fancy plumbers elbow on the aftermarket intake manifold along with the internal regulator alternator mod has been done to this car. As always, GREAT find and video. Keep them coming. Thank you.

I bought a 1970 desert sand with black stripes Chevelle SS in 1972 with 18,000 on the clock that was sold originally by the same dealer and was a new car trade in for the princely sum of $2200. Car was 402 Turbo 400 column shift with cloth Goldish/tan colored interior with a bench seat and was 100% original as it had rolled off the showroom floor new.
Was a super nice car, I sold it about a year or so later to buy a '66 389 Tri Power 4 spd GTO.

It’s a shame most people who have these nice classics NEVER put down a plastic tarp under the car as a moisture barrier to protect the integrity of the car. Even as a kid I knew enough to do this!

What about the fire extinguisher in the back seat? Could it be a sign of things to come? BOOM just a thought. : )

You really know your stuff about them Chevelles. I had a friend that had a 70 Chevelle with a 307 engine in it. That was probably 15-20 years ago, I like the car I should have bought it at the time.

Mike Pevency that’s funny you said that! My dad owned one identical to this. Same color and all. Bought it when it was 2 years old. Drove it for 3 months and wrapped it around a tree. Boys and there toys right!

@@oveidasinclair982 I wouldn't consider myself a Joe-Bob. I'm mixed race but pretty much identify as Black. I definitely would not be drinking PBR or stereotypical white boy alcohol. Sounds like you're just a jealous person because you don't get to drive around in a classic car. I don't care for "restoring" a vehicle to have to just to look at and never enjoy. I like having a car you can go treat it like it was designed to be treated and have fun.

@@oveidasinclair982 seriously, what do you guys get out of completely restoring a car and then just having it sit there? I can never understand why I get so much crap for having the car in drivable condition and actually enjoy it. Always getting hounded and harrassed by people who claim it's a shame the car isn't going to a better home to someone who would care about it and fix it up when I keep it maintained and drive multiple times a year. Do you guys really believe that the appropriate action is to completely restore those cars and then to let them sit?
