  • I know I'm a world away from painting the car, but I really wanted to dive into practicing paint, while Alex's encouragement was fresh in my system.
I began sandblasting these wheels in August of 2022 and only just recently finished the paint.
Most of that time was spent waiting for another opportunity to spend the time at the cabinet.

I appreciate that. Wait until you see the wheels complete and on the car!

    Good job with that primer.
Preparation for painting anything can quite often feel tedious and time consuming work, but certainly makes all the difference to the finished result.

Thanks man. I took it to heart, the need to put all the effort into the prep.

I remember the very first of your videos I watched you driving your "new" car home from the west coast. You were brave beyond imagination and almost made it all the way home. Look at the progress you have made since then. You literally have a daily driver and what joy you've had from your experiences. I hope to be able to share a fraction of your joy the day I hear my ole bus start for the first time since her retirement in 1984. Please keep your videos coming.

I really appreciate your continued interest. I know you’re going to be over the moon when you get that bus rolling again. Straight up, if it weren’t for people like you, I wouldn’t still be making these videos. I’d get a lot more done a lot faster, that’s for sure! But I do enjoy making the videos too
