That happened to me and the carpet wouldn’t dry for three weeks. I ended up totally removing my interior carpet so I can get the floor pan to dry but by then the floor had already start to rust the the sound deadening material was crumbling away. I suggest you remove your carpet and take a look before it’s too late and your floor rots out
I didn't plug it, I used the little brass fitting and the line to basically act as an extension for the line bc for whatever reason Honda made it 2 pieces, and over time the rubber shrinks and comes apart. Im glad I could help :)

What size is the fitting? Is the fitting 1/2-3/8 or 1/2-1/2?
I used a 1/2 to 3/8, to this day my floor is still dry 👍hope that helps
