Thank you so much!!! I've been recently getting some water on the floorboard and was about to start messing around with the windshield and drains immediate to the sunroof. I just looked where you point us to and saw a disconnect. Other videos don't make it as clear as to where this drain is located. Thanks again.

I had an odd one, carpet was wet even with tube in the boot! I finally figured it out: the water was draining out the boot, but the hood release cable runs right below that angled downward back into the car. The boot for the hood release cable was torn open, so the sunroof water was drawing out into the wheel well, onto the cable, and running down the cable right back into the car, keeping my carpet wet! I covered the torn cable boot, which is right below the drain boot, with silicone sealer. I did this from the outside of the car - had to unscrew and unfasten the wheel well liner to get to these parts.

So you used 5/16 and 1/4 inch tube and connected ends to the boot and pre installed tube?

What are the 2 sizes of hose you had to buy? You said 5/16 but the thicker one but you lost me on the smaller hose. I’m guessing is the same size as the original clear hose so it fits the black hose?
