we road trip vanlife lake district starting near derwent water heading over the Newlands pass then onto the honister pass in buttermere before hitting the winlatter pass.
we have campervan park ups with a view in the mountains of the lake district .
we attempt to take our van somewhere where I've never taken her before . some of these mountain passes and tiny roads are thinner then my 6 foot 8 inch van.
let's see If my vw crafter campervan conversion will fit down the mountain pass

Oh I would love to be doing what you're doing to be walking in the mountains walking on the hills and enjoying the nature. I live on 7 acres in Canada and I get to sit out and see a lot of that kind of thing. Just out my door but I don't get to go for a walk too much. Because I have difficulty walking, but I would love to do that. I would love to see England in Scotland in Ireland and just enjoy all that walking in camping out in the wilderness or out in the out in the fresh air. Thank you so much for sharing❤.❤❤❤❤

Might be worth upgrading your phone charger and cable the cable can make a big difference in speed and a decent fast charger might be around £20 depends on the max W your phone can pull
You picked some amazing roads the only one you need to avoid is the Hard Knot Pass, if you want a challenge that is the one. you can do it in your van but its the worst steepest in the Lakes oh apart from the hill on way to Coniston parking hahah
I can't do hardknott . My steering lock won't make those hairpins and I ain't stopping on them hahaha

I love your enthusiasm but your a bit over dramatic with the driving on the lanes concidering you did farm tipper work for jenkinsons.
I do tanker feeds in similar areas in the lakes plus Scotland to Cornwall it can be a challenge but I wouldn't hype it up in a van 😂
Nice to see your on the hill getting healthy but a bit of cooking would hit the mark better than heated stuff.

Im guessing no overnight means no overnight, For my sins i used to drive a rigid for a private bin company, My ex gaffer said, His word's not mine, Class 1 driver's think there the King's of the road, Nope that'll be bin wagon driver's, Wont lie they was all "private" job's, Tight as fcuk comes to mind, That certainly got your blood pumping, Decent money too, I don't know a class 1 driver on 600 a week for 32 hour's a week (take home)
The amount of van/campervan drivers, who do not know what a 6'6 width sign means. The amount of times i have faced a van/campervan on a width restricted road, in my car is mind boggling. When you point out, they should not be on that road, for no good reason. They just hurl abuse...
