Just moved to Dubai from London (born and bred), everything he said is spot on. I held back form moving due to the cultural heritage I loved so much, but eventually other factors became too strong of an issue. Safety - you will not believe how much this makes you feel. I hate being back in London, with the fear of being mugged or encountering some random nutter.

Dubai is the best city in the world. Got so much negative feedback before getting here. Nothing will beat the safety and security this city offers compared to London and NY.
I have to agree. Safety is not something to be compromised. You can just walk the streets at 2am in Dubai and you don't feel like you need watch your back. Things change and improve. The leader has a vision for his city... What is the vision for the UK? The government is just rinsing the UK. The corruption is clear, just like any other 3rd world country.

I love Dubai and I love London. I live in London and I have my own business here, but I am thinking more and more of moving to Dubai, for the reasons you specified in this video, mostly because I feel like the taxes are going to go up even more in the coming years, the UK is losing its "entrepreneur friendly" status and people are more and more becoming negative. The funny thing is that I love both the hot weather in Dubai and sometimes I also like the cold one in London, I love the historicity of London and the modernity of Dubai... So maybe, the best solution would be to just live in both cities, spend at least six months and one day in Dubai, and the rest either in London or back home (in Italy). That probably sounds like perfection
Yeah! I think a great option is to have a base in both - winter home in Dubai, summer home in London, but don’t spend enough time in UK to trigger tax residence
I currently live in London, but I had the opportunity to live in Dubai during 2018-2019. Both cities are remarkable in their own way, each offering a unique lifestyle and atmosphere. While I enjoy the vibrant energy and modern luxuries of Dubai, especially during the cooler winter months, I find London particularly appealing in the summer, with its pleasant weather and rich cultural experiences. Both places hold a special place in my heart, but the seasonal differences make me appreciate them even more.❤
Just add one more think. I hear london is too expensive but dubai its aint cheap either, in london you can live with public transportation no problem where in dubai it depends on the person. Me personally , i cant live without a car in dubai at all. Every person i know has car. The car factor is important here as taxies are too expensive so will you end up paying alot in taxies so you might consider buying one for example.
I’ve been living in the UAE for 12 years. I’d recommend it to anybody…except more Brits. Way too many Brits here. There are so many Brits and Irish that you’d think they’re trying to set up another isles here. Thank God the Emiratis are here to prevent that from happening.
@@JohnSmith-sm7ez Haha. Do you think a good job protects you? Do you feel safe walking down the street with your Rolex on? Of course, it's not about you silly, what about your family? Kids? Wife. That's what it's about. I guess that isn't important to you (or you don't have any of these).
Thing is London is always going to be there, our culture incentivises bums so the cost of living for everyone else goes up but if you really have real money you will recognise London to be the safest place to invest. Fine you may get tax free deals and so on in Dubai but who knows the place could be a sharia war zone in 10 years and your investment is gone.
Also UK is more than just London you know. There's other places in UK much better than London. Also ut doesn't rain here all the time like people say. Yes it does rain. But it's not always. We do get warm, cold, wet and mild. So you get all 4. So for me I prefer it in UK. I don't even care much about my own country either. But I would say I would rather live in UK in my opinion.

I am originally from Algeria, but Have lived for almost 30 years in America. I went to London to see what the fuss is all about in that city few years ago and I was actually SHOCKED!!! London is a SMALL VILLAGE compared even to Paris. London has a downtown and that's it. The buildings in London are very small, there are very few buildings with more than even 4 stories ( I am not talking about the small city you all call the city of London- the supposedly financial hub of finance in Western Europe). Paris on the other hand is EMPERIAL, its like that scene in the movie Gladiator when the General slash slave gladiator comes back from North Africa to Rome and looks at the colosseum. Paris or even Vienna is grandiose and beautiful and you fell like this city was built for a true empire. In New York the buildings are so tall and there are so many of them that the city dwarfs you and dwarfs anything around it, the same thing goes for Tokyo. Basically London is still a medieval village compared to Dubai, New York, Tokyo or Shanghai or even Berlin!!!
London has the tallest buildings in western Europe, what are you talking about? Also the city of London, the small downtown core has taller buildings than paris, like the shard, and of course canary wharf has way more skyscrapers than la defense, there are great and newer areas in london compared to paris, which you as a tourist would never know about, like greenwich peninsula, or battersea/nine elms area

Really cool video. I'm going to check out your other clips regarding Dubai. What website did you mention in the finance part?
numbeo.com
nice video, keep going on like this
I prefer Abu Dhabi. It has the advantages of Dubai, but is quieter and more affordable. (And you can drive to Dubai on weekends.)
Like this guy this right tell us what’s really going on in London n Dubai
Can you do a video regarding differences between Dubai and Finland
Man from Finland complaining about the cold, wet overcast weather in London..
Let that sink in...😅
It’s why I left Finland too

Dubai, sunshine and safety. Sometimes it's hot, but smile, you have AC. 😎

$5-7k per month imo if you are single

Best in USA
Brexit means Brexit though hey....
I will choose London anytime because i didn’t like dubai

I actually hate summer and hot climate but the grey sky's in London is just way to much depressing
@@mosaabahmed8968I guess because dubai is poorly designed
