Have this card, agree that the cooling is meh. Although it also has to do with the passive default fan curve. A slightly more aggressive curve significantly improves thermals. Also the 7600 doesn't seem to be a very good undervolter, mine can only go as low as 95% voltage before it's unstable. In comparison my 6600 can go to as low as 75%. Had to cap boost clock + set a custom fan curve in this card to get temps under control.
Awesome review, Manong! Off topic question, my budget is limited to 20k for now. I'm thinking of getting this GPU and a new 650W PSU. Current CPU is an i5 4460 + 8GB 4x2 DDR3 RAM. Upgrading from GTX 950. My PC is having a hard time running Dota 2 at 120 fps @ 1080p. Is this a good idea? New subscriber here! Thank you!
From your specs I assume that you can run 60fps. So you need twice the raster perf of gtx 950... That would be gtx 1660 or better (rtx 3050, 1660 super, rtx 2060, rx 6600). But you need to double check the CPU after... You might hit cpu bottleneck. To answer your question, I'm a bit skeptical with 7600 paired with i5-4460 as you'd likely hit CPU bottleneck even for dota2.
The answer is it depends. 🙂 If you think that overall responsiveness of your machine is important (from boot times, to browsing, other non-gaming), then a CPU and platform upgrade would be better. You'd get negligible performance gains from gaming though (like less stutters). But if you feel that gaming is more important, then it will always be better to get a GPU first. It will really provide better perf even if bottlenecked by CPU. Upgrade the CPU later if there are unbearable stutters.

Goods ba na upgrade to over my 1660 Super na 3years na and will be paired with Ryzen 5 5600x and 1440p monitor? Wala rin kasi mahanap na 6700 XT dito na hindi nakakalula yung price.
Honestly, I can't say. Dipende kasi sa developers ito at kung ano susundan nilang trend. If alan wake 2 will be the trend, then hindi. If baldurs gate 3 will be the trend, then yes. Kaya yan.
