Grabbed one of the XFX 7600s on blackfriday for 240 bones. I was gaming solidly on 1440p on a ultrawide monitor at 75fps. Underrated card honestly.

I was going to get the rig from the store with the Ryzen 5 7600, and the RX 7600, XFX actually. Good 1080p set up imo. I've built computers for years, don't need anything big and fancy. BUT does the XFX GPU (card) run HOT and LOUD, as I've read?

I'm glad to hear this. I'm struggling to decide between a good 1080p or average 1440p monitor for this card. I think I'll jump to the 1440p then. Also have the XFX 7600.

For anyone who has this card and experiences crashing on games, AMD Adrenaline is the culprit. It sets the GPU clock too high (2900 MHz) be sure to adjust this in Performance>Tuning to match the clock speed listed in this video or if you plan on doing an OC don't go above 2755 MHz or uninstall Adrenaline and just use the Driver only.

i have the acer predator bifrost OC version of this card and adrenaline set the OC to 2945 and i've been using it for a couple weeks now without any instability. maybe it's the card. i was having lots of instability with drivers constantly crashing when i was using the polaris drivers on an RX590. that being said, i have heard of your user experience being quite common i guess i dodged a bullet.

Same. Had a few driver crashes, but i dont think they are related to clocks for me. I was OCed my OC version to 3000 mhz, and it runs stable. Had very similar driver crashes when I first purchased rx 570, but they went away with time.

I had the same issue too in game only with adrenaline 24.5.1, the new 24.6.1 i have no crashes, but for safe it is always better to undervolt and downgrade to less then 2900Mhz. and ajust the fan speed.

naw just means you can max games longer notice he has settings turned to high while I'm sure you can just max those sliders without a thought. Sharper edges won't be a game changer in anyway. The 7800xt is the true 1440p card anyway. 12gb of vram atm for 1080p is king. You never have to worry about vram limitations at 1080p. 1440p you can run into it with 12gb though not common but can.

@@forog1 My issue is that im putting way to much stress on the cpu with these high frame rates in every game. Getting 120 fps in cyberpunk or 300 fps in call of duty is not good for health of components. I know the 5800X3D can handle it (thats what i have paired with the card) but i think at 1440p, the system will be more stable and smooth when it comes to games. Because i always believe that the less cpu usage you have, the better the game runs, regardless of the fps counter. I really dont like seeing my cpu usage at 85-90%

@@theanglerfish I spent 250 dollars on my BenqEX2510. Incredible IPS colors and outstanding built-in speakers too. Has great HDRi available for some games too. It's 25 inch. Had it for 2 years now and no issues at all. It will be a sad day when i move away from it because with these specs I am able to play games on ultra settings in native resolution. No FSR or DLSS crap. although in some games people debate it improves the pictures quality. Regarding the monitor, if somehow ill find the exact model but in 1440p instead of 1080p, i will consider it. but maybe in christmas or following year. I am fine for the minute

Hello there,I'm trying to build a new pc. Thinking to pair with either Ryzen 5600/5600G.
For Gpu, im confused between Rx 6650xt & 7600 of sapphire pulse brand.
(I need the Igpu of 5600G as backup,if the card fails,it will be hard to afford another.
But, I'm still not quite yet sure which cpu should i pair with)
    I'm not a hardcore gamer.
I just want to use mostly for "web surfing and streaming videos."
Casually, I want to play games like GTA V, Need for Speed & FIFA sometimes.
Also, I have heard about Forza, i never played that one before. But,i might want to try it if I buy the card.
What do you think, which should i get for my purpose?
I hope it will be energy sufficient for my use.

With the CPU you just need to be aware that the 5600 supports PCIe Gen 4 whereas the 5600G doesn't. The better choice if pairing with a GPU is the 5600. The RX6650xt is less price less power consumption and overall a better card in this range. It gets overlooked and those that say the extra year driver support for the 7600 are speaking out of their bottom hole. In this price point either the rx6650*xt or rx7600 would be very playable in 1080p in 6 years when it would be replaced regardless. The 7600 does have better media, again at the entry level this is not a budget gamer concern that will still be on an old benq 60mhz monitor.
I use the 7900gre in a work rig and the rx6750xt to game on in my game rig and can say I had hoped better for the 70 series than it has given, especially with the price hikes (and drops.) Our youngest has an rx6700xt now but used the rx6650xt for 9 months and it was awesome in all your budget gamer fare like fortnite/ minecraft/ roblox/ cod/gta5 and cyberpunk2077 keeping in mind this was 1080p high settings.
If you are deadset on wasting money to waste it, just keep in mind if your monitor is ancient and cpu below the ryzen 5 3600 then you wont be thinking about the lack luster media upgrade the 7600 has considering it is at £250 and the rx6650xt is £200 if you are int he UK. If you find them at close cost then the rx7600 is the better choice long term if you are working with no budget in the future for an upgrade. I did find the rx7600 at £210 with a free copy of RE4 but we had already upgraded his gpu tot he rx6700xt by the time the deal landed and that would have been a solid buy for anyone. We are months away from the new gen cards dropping and the 7600 and 6650xt will dip in price big time.
