I had the pulse elite for 1 day and returned it. Here's why: 1 the lack of bass, there's no bass at all only highs and mids. 2 the comfort, they are uncomfortable and don't feel right. 3 the ratteling noise of the earcups, they are te lose and feel so weak. 4 the random disconnecting, they lost connection couple times every hour. 5 the lights on the headset are in the vision of the player. 6 they are not fit good with the psvr2. Save your money and buy another headset!!
The Elite which I upgraded to kept disconnecting and randomly loosing sound, I looked online and found this is a major issue so no thank's I sent mine back and now using my Pulse 3D set again which are still great.
Picked the Pulse Elite up for £129.99 in UK and loooing forward to trying these bad boys out. Traded my two 3D Pulse headsets in so the Elite will have my Steel Series 7P as back up which are also excellent. I did love my 3D headsets but Spider-Man and my other games will now sound so much richer and crisper now.
Now I’ve used them the sound quality is excellent and the headset is comfortable. The sound is so much richer especially on the music parts of games. Terminator Resistance when that iconic tune pipes up is glorious and Spider-Man 2 the sound is just pure and crisp hearing all the little details. Definitely my favourite of the headsets I own between Xbox and PS. Although Steel Series 9X for Xbox and 7P for PS are both excellent additions.
I just got a pair everything is so much better, last of us 2 has sounds I couldn’t even pick up before and movies/ streaming etc greatly enhanced by this product
Because they’re junk. All of Sonys ps link stuff does this. I sent mine back after one day. Co start disconnecting issues. A weird crackling/popping g noise, they uncomfortable as hell sliding all over my head and don’t get me started trying to use these with PSVR2.
I had my pulse elite headset for a day used twice and faulty already won't connect to dongle even after a factory reset heaps of people are have issue's
ulse Elite is extremely uncomfortable with PSVR2. Putting it on top of the headset creates a gap in the ear cups and sound like hell. Under the headset and the headset has a hard time staying in location due to the weight pushing down on it. Have to make constant adjustments. Not to mention how the VR headset clamps the ear cups to your ears and in about 30 minutes things get painful. Without the VR, the support strap is like a smooth texture so it slides all over the place when moving your head around. It’s like the support band isn’t tight enough or grippy enough. Everything is lightweight cheap plastic. So all the weight is on the ear cups. Hence the reason they move around so much. Noticing a crackling/popping noise occasionally not to mention 5 drop outs altogether in the audio where it disconnects in 3 hours. I’ve reset the link adapter numerous times and repaired twice. Same issues. But hey, they sound pretty decent. Can’t wear them without constantly adjusting them or being in pain if you’re using the same companies VR headset. Just unbelievable. I really wanted to like these things.
Absolute garbage. Cheap plastic. Heavy ear cups. Not enough tension on the headband make them slide all over the place. Disconnect issues rampant all over the internet. Mine make an annoying crackling/popping noise. And are pretty much useless for PSVR2.
@@AdApT3Rx It be what it be. Such is life. lol. I really did want these to work. I heard such great things. But I found a much cheaper solution. Remember those old headphones with the wire that would clip in each ear? $20 on Amazon. Perfect for VR. And I remember I had a pair years ago and they sounded amazing!
Well, I gotta say it's a hit. Or a miss. I returned 3 pairs and I had link connection issues. What the Stupid dongle. I also came across a post online. That stated the dongle can compete what other 2.4 GHz. Devices that are connected to your router. So you gotta try and switch as many to the 5 GHz, as far as the pair. I have now. It has been doing very well. I believe it's a software issue with The dongle and sony should be able to fix it The Pulse elite are miles ahead of last generations and so far They have performed well for me. I feel like I'm immersed into the game. What does planar magnetic drivers? But the stories are true. There's a lot of the effective units out there. Hopefully Sony fix that if my current unit starts to fail. I will return an indefinitely and wait till sony fixes the problem
There is an Xbox wireless headset and other 3rd party headsets, but I find they are getting outdated now as Sony is producing a lot of newer, exciting accessories!
If you enjoy listening to AM radio elite is a good choice for you. NO MIXER. NO BASS. Treble is way too high. Headstrap doesn't work well and it falls down easily. AI noise cancelling doesn't work well. Hanger is a joke you have to screw into something - they could have included a small table clamp. Complete disappointment from Sony....they are marketing this on the buzzword planar magnetic - not new tech it's been around 40 yrs. Wait till it goes on clearance for $50. Pulse 3D sounds much better and there are much better options under $150
I agree! Pre ordered mine, got them on 21st, returned them on the 21st. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t an upgrade from my virtuoso xt’s. Anyone who reads this, if your headset is still good then don’t waste your time on these. The lack of game chat mix on the headset was a complete dealbreaker for me. You can’t even adjust the game chat unless you’re literally in party chat. Pointless. And the pulse elite are hideous.

Is the ear cups on the elite bigger? I hated the original pulse ear cups because they sat on my ears and not over them.
They are

Pulse 3D vs Pulse Elite - Which do you think is best to buy?
Definitely not the elite! lol. These things are absolute garbage.
I know this is hard to ask. But can u compare the inzone buds, explore buds, and pulse elite??
Stay away from the elite. They are junk. Sent mine back after having them a day.

Did you just say very affordable. $200 is expensive. $100 is affordable
IDK how things are for him in the land down under but here in America 🇺🇸 The Pulse 3D are $100 and The new Pulse Elite are $150.
Am struggling on which monitor to buy for the ps5 that's affordable any ideas on what to go for that's affordable to?
I just got a pair everything is so much better, last of us 2 has sounds I couldn’t even pick up before and movies/ streaming etc greatly enhanced by this product
Awesome!!

Can anyone explain why when I’m playing these turn off randomly ? Then it takes around 10 minute to turn them back on?

Just send them back bro. They junk. This is a prevalent issue. Not to mention the cheap plastic garbage.

Love the pulse elite worth it all the way
Hello, Is the elite louder than the pulse? I found the pulse very low and had to stop using it, I could buy the elite if its louder
Yes. A lot louder
Yes louder and clearer
The pulse elite is leagues better in every single way😂😂😂😂
Yeah absolutely, really good upgrade to get

Wrong. More like leagues of trash 😂
I returned 4 pairs in a week. Well known connection and link issues with the elite. Nice try though 😂😂
I got the pulse elite headset it sounds great with games. Having problems pairing to. My phone
You’ll have lots of problems keeping it paired with the PlayStation too.
Do you play games online with Xbox series S ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I mainly play red dead 2, forza 5, forza motorsport, elden ring, the Witcher 3 on xbox, nothing online
