I think there must be a lot of people that just buy basically all of these because they are so cool and they have the disposable income, so in a way it almost doesn't matter what anbernic releases at this point. I cant do that but I'm sure plenty of others can.

-Well it looks comfortable to hold, the RGB30 is pretty comfortable too, this more so because of the grips. RGB30 grips are pretty cheap too btw
-Better chip = more games (this can do psp, NGC, PS2, Dreamcast flawlessly). The RGB30 can do psp but not as great, no gamecube,ps2 or dream cast I believe.
-having an android based system is cool in my eyes. easier to set things up.
-No wonky charging like the RGB30 it seems

Different price point I imagine, so maybe not a fair comparison. That said, it looks to be a better build quality than the RGB30 (I’ve returned two so far due to issues; fingers crossed number three is ‘the one’). The more 1:1 devices the better IMO, it’s so versatile and has opened up the world of PICO 8 and Tate mode to me!

Unpopular opinion, but I prefer analogs above the dpad. The analog stick usually sits higher than the dpad so I have to make sure I don't bump it when I use the dpad. In fact, I wouldn't mind having the right analog stick above the face buttons for the same reason.

I guess for me the big elephant in the room will be the price. If it is priced right sure it’ll be another hit for Anbernic. I own the RG556 and it’s an amazing handheld and with the current deals I believe the 556 is the best handheld money can buy right now. That Oled screen is just phenomenal. However it’s not that pocketable and that’s where the Cube comes in. But again it would be hard to justify buying one if the price is the same as the 556. What’s with the color scheme? They should make one like the gray RG405v. That would look amazing. We’ll see what Ambernic decides to do with the price.

He is not a 'reviewer' from a true reviewer sense but rather he is a marketer in disguise of these emulating devices. His main goals is to introduce and market many devices as possible and point out all the goods and bads but he never have a favorite or a standout because his job is to flourish the market with everything and indicating every devices has its pros for some people and cons for others. I am not a fan of this kind of review style. To me, you gotta be able to firmly state your opinion on what device is superior over others and create some drama. I fully agree with Anbernic that the analog stick goes on top for these more powerful handhelds. There are plenty of choices up through RK3566 and even T610 devices for 'more retro' gaming enthusiasts/occasions. These GameCube, Wii and PS2 capable devices should not be optimized for SNES. And it goes without saying that the screen should not be optimized for GB and Pico8. Vertical shooters and DS are MUCH better in Tate mode on a proper 16:9 device. So this is a niche design for collectors IMHO. But I do like the height of the device for ergonomic reasons.
