- Don't want your throttle to self-center? Me neither! In this video I'll show you how to get rid of the spring loaded throttle by removing the throttle-centering components and install the throttle friction plate. You can even use a zip-tie or other piece of plastic if you don't have the metal friction plate!

Shout out to you for including the workaround for the metal piece! I bought this transmitter from a goodwill for $15 bc I want to get into FPv, and knew I needed a non-self-centering throttle. This is perfect bc I have a lot of zip ties but no metal pieces😂
edit: when I went to open it up, turns out the metal piece was already installed?? hahaha so I just took off the spring and the spring tenisoner and it stopped the throttle from centering. still this video helped a ton, so thank you very much sir. looking forward to starting my FPV journey !
Looking at the inside, it seems it would be possible to change a two position switch on the small board with a 3 positions switch since holding a 2 position switch in the middle, does bring the channel to neutral position on the graph.

I’m going over any and all flysky videos because I bought a black fs-i6s & modified the Gteng fpv watch to fit flush with the face of the transmitter & right between the sticks , dosent get in the way and it’s built In with its own battery , video out for the big screen or dvr & I have a 3000mah 2s lipo powering the tx , I used to have external antennas on my first white version but it think I’ll just keep stock internal antennas this time because I’m not worried about flying much more then down a few houses as far as range & for penetration I’ll be flying only behind my house & a few trees , I want to get the ELRS with jumper t pro ! But we will see maybe I’ll do external antenna with dual wifi booster because this transmitter has 2 antenna and I’m pretty sure I’ll have to boost both of them for it to work right , dronemesh did it with the old flysky transmitter that has only 1 internal antenna

Thanks Adam... (Sure makes ME feel dumb...After ordering spring wire, jeweler's pliers, etc. from Amazon, I finally got one of my "Toy" controllers converted to Non-Centering type - with the "Friction-Fit" joystick!).
Zip Tie, Hmmm...? Who would have THUNK! (But I have lots of experience making loops in the ends of wires, now!) Haha!

Hi Adam. Question? Can I use a Aura 5 lite with my Flysky FS i6x system? I've looked around and can't find a difinitive answer. THanks for your channel I just joined. You have a lot of great information I like in one place.
Hi! I haven't personally tried, but based on what the tech specs say, YES. BUT you need to use a Serial based receiver using Ibus or Sbus protocol (the kind you would use in a quadcopter), instead of a typical airplane receiver. I would suggest using the FS-X6B, Fli14+, or Crossover XR602T-A. The FS-ia6B could work, but you will need to have a specific cable (that won't come standard with the rx) to connect from the Ibus port on the RX to the JST port on the Aura (or else solder the wires).

Hi! That is the original throttle friction tensioner that came with the transmitter.

hey iam a noob. i was about to purchase this particular model for a quadcopter..do i really need to do this. i mean whats the difficulty flying a centered gimbal..? u may need to hold it down befor taking off?
Hi! I was too! Yes. You definitely want your throttle stick to NOT auto center--for both performance and safety. I suggest taking a look at the FS-i6X which is my preffered flysky radio and without autocenter gimbal.
