    For old cars you need to support the car by the frame in order to let the suspension travel. This will let the u-joints reach full flex. You will need to push in some new grease and then turn the wheels preferably in drive for a few minutes. Then you will grease them again fully. This will let the old hardened grease break free and allow the joint to be fully lubricated.

      I've always used standard chassis grease. A few years ago almost every channel related to automotive was getting sponsored by WD-40 to promote their grease. One guy did a pretty elaborate test with it and convinced me. So I use the WD-40 marine grease that's meant for submerged or wet environments and I've got nothing bad to say about it. Everything I've taken apart that was packed with it showed that it's working well and it holds up over years of use.

    I thought it was bad if grease came out. Is that only in the Axel boots?

  • @navithefairy
    @navithefairy 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think you should maybe apply more grease so you see the new blue grease coming out. This means all the old grease is out.

    • @HocusFocusProductions
      @HocusFocusProductions หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most brands make exhaust paint for that specific purpose. Regular 500 degree high heat paint won't be resistant enough

      look for a hole with an allen plug in it for a new zert. Sometimes you will only leave the zert in for the lube operation.
