If Zdarsky stays with DC, I’m hoping he moves to The Flash in the fall. I just feel him writing a lighter book with Wally might be the way to go for that one.
All 3 issues of space ghost have been great! Love what dynamite is doing with a such anique character. Especially him adopting the kids and blip, turning them into his sidekicks to take on never seen before villains and missions. SO COOL! 😎
Cobra Commander should get his own run... that issue with the Dreadnoks paint a happy face on his helmet with his blood was epic. Duke was a pretty epic 5 issue run too. Destro is my favorite character... Destro #1 was good... hoping we get a "Ship Wreck" run... maybe a Serpentor or Dr Mindbender run. Lady Jay would be a good one too... will they give us a Baroness tie in after Destro is done?
Space Ghost is one of the best books I have been reading in 2024. So many great nostalgic books coming out from Dynamite. Cannot wait for Powerpuff Girls and Jonny Quest this summer!
I don't think Thompson understands the character of Scarlett. She's not supposed to be a badass ninja beating rooms of enemy ninjas. She's supposed to be a talented spy, good at extracting information and gathering intel. I agree with you - she seems to be writing her as if she were Black Widow. Totally different characters. Regarding "Batman", loved your breakdown... "be better." haha! You are spot on, my friend. I say the *book* needs to "be better". "Space Ghost" has been a pleasant surprise.
Batman probably would not have ticked me off as much if they just took the banner of the top and surprised people with the Tie in portion of the comic.
Yeah, I feel just the opposite on Batman. I don’t like “tie in” stuff. To me, they just scream “money grab” to make readers buy titles they normally aren’t interested in reading or collecting. I haven’t read this Batman book yet, but I think I’m going to like the story about the guy trying to sell Batman’s identity more than the tie in stuff.
If you were going to pick a Spawn comic line, which would you recommend? I might need to ditch Xmen if it doesn't meet standards. So I need to pick up another comic for my pull list
I read Spawn, and Gunslinger Spawn. You might want to read them for yourself to see what you might like though.if you like team books there is Scorched.

scarlet and destro are 5 issues each, Mike. just like duke and cobra commander were 5 issues each.

Like I said wasn't a bad story I just didn't expect that to be the main story. Hopefully you will like it.
