Hello Mike. Stuck at home today so it was a great opportunity for me to “binge” watch my favorite golf instructors videos most of the afternoon/evening. This, as all your other presentations, are an excellent source for all golfers to learn the proper fundamentals of golf. Thanks for all the great videos!

This helps so much! I was playing yesterday and kept hitting the ball right but I was lining up with the ball in the middle of my feet

Great Connells song called Fine Tuning. Nice video, and I've always heard a good place to start with the driver is even with the left heal (inside) for a right handed golfer. I, too, learned about short clubs back and long clubs front. Took me till getting back into golf and TH-cam to learn that back in my stance is for knock down shots and stingers.

Hi Mike, I'm having trouble with my driver not getting any consistency with my swing. I went to the driving range today and hit my 3, 5 woods and 4 hybrid and I was hitting the sweet spot every time. I think I'll stick to the 3 wood for driving off the tee. I'm fortunate that I can hit the woods off the Fairways and the tees.

Great video. Even us experienced (old guys) need refreshers on basics.

This is a great way to hit fade... I put ball almost by front foot to fade it.

This is 100% golfer specific. Scottie plays it pretty far forward. Rory plays it a bit farther back. Both great drivers.

I hit the ball better a bit back of center with mid-irons and varying degrees forward and back with the rest, but I also have a slight chicken wing I cannot dust. Feel like I'm just putting a bandaid on my poor swing.

You may be correct. Play with the ball more forward in your stance, make sure your grip, posture and alignment are all fundamentally sound. You'll be incentivized to make better swings.

Ok, this is my focus on the driving range today. too far back= push or hook. Too far forward=slice. Also work on sandtrap on putting

Tried far foward off left heel and its a slice all the time.

Not for me. By the time my clubhead gets to the ball, my face is closed and I hit pull hooks. I was taught that the initial flight of the ball tells you in which direction the club was moving, and what it does once it's out a ways lets you know what angle the clubface was relative to that path.
