You can request to the delivery driver in the checkout process to not delivery to you but to drop it at the local post office cause in my building there’s no intercom and only regular mail men have access keys for the mail boxes inside the building not delivery drivers. They usually leave the slip on the door and the manager me or my neighbours give me the slip. You can always also leave your contact number and if the driver can’t get in the building he or she will call you and you can let them in the building or if your not home give permission to leave it at the local post office.

Her advice only works in those yuppy upscale apartments condo style apartments and not the typical walk up apartment with absentee owners.
