I would recommend using the Lenovo Legion Toolkit instead of Lenovo Vantage. It has pretty much all the functionality as Lenovo Vantage, but it's incredibly lightweight and has a lot more features than Lenovo Vantage itself. I'm rocking a Lenovo Legion 5 with an RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 5600H.

Search for the processor boost reg hack. Enabling this allows you to disable CPU boost via your power plan eg in balanced or quiet mode. This can substantially reduce CPU temps with very little noticeable impact on general tasks and even gaming. Works well for me on an AMD Legion 5 Pro. Another suggestion is a frame cap on games eg 75-100hz so that you aren't stressing your GPU unecessarily. Few games really benefit from 100+ frames. Most single player games have diminishingly returns after 75+ fps. This ought to bring your GPU temps down substantially.
The problem I am having now is I get distracted by the capslock indicator on-screen, do you know how to turn it off, I tried in the settings, control panel, task manager, and services, but it still pops up. Is there a way to turn it off?

I need help my legion 5 3060 i7 11th gen 16gb ram. I have many fps drop in those game i tested: fivem, fortnite rumbleverse. But the games i dont have stutter is: gta5 (online/offline) , valorant. There is no cpu bottle neck cpu is fine at game 60 degrees, gpu overclocked trough bios and using legion fan control, all drivers updated (gpu only dont know how on cpu). I tried many options like using timerresolution and mem reduct doesnt help i get many fps like around valorant 300fps in main game and on fortnite getting arround 300fps pls i need help!!

Doesn’t matter. No point in having a bunch of space for it to sit empty. I mean, I didn’t buy a 4TB sabrent rocket NVME to… not use it. You’ll replace the NVME with something new way before it fails anyway. That’s like buying a 3090 and then throttling down the clock speed because you’re afraid of high temps for some reason.

Hey Houndx I followed all the steps, but when I load into the game for COD MW2 it crashes my game with the DirectX sign. I don't understand why this is happening, I even updated the latest versions...
Why you not install physx drivers? Why not hyper thread? And why you advice to disable security feature? These are core functions of Computer. Physx drivers make physics work faster. If you don’t install them then computer will use cpu instead of flu if U I remember correctly. Hyper threading makes it use cpu better. And never disable security. Security disablers usually want you to install something on your computer or want to game with you to somehow get your up trough old dated voice call softwares or trough older games. Hackers can get your ip trough their own voice server programs like ventrilo and team speak - heck even Skype can leak your ip or at least it used to. That’s why we have discord now that hides your ip. And older counter strike servers could be commanded to tell whole servers for players in-game name, steam ID and ip address with console command. Keep security on. Stay safe.
Hyper threading does improve cpu performance in other workloads like video editing but usually results lower performance in games so that’s why you disable it for only the games you play. As for security, this is just disabling windows defender, which takes up a lot cpu and ram usage. If you want it on, by all means but I would recommend using a different antivirus like malwarebytes that take up less system resources if you care enough about security.

You can't undervolt H processes. I believe they are locked if not mistaken.

My apologies but I don't remember what wallpaper I used honestly. I did use wallpaper engine tho to set the video wallpapers.
