the pen actually has a lot of pressure sensitivity and palm interaction can be avoided, depending on the app. medibang is perfect for it. also, it comes with a screen protector already installed - that's the thickness you're seeing. if you flip the tablet over, so that the camera is towards you, you can fold the cover over so it's at less of an incline, more like the angle you wanted. the batteries in the pen last about a month and a half-two months.
I’m sure she knows this by now (since it’s been a year) but for beginners starting digital art, if you find your lines shaky turn on your stabilizer(it helps a ton) :)

For drawing app, I actually prefer Medibang, but I got to agree with you that the Picasso tab is honestly great! Especially for beginners. I started doing digital on this tablet around three months ago and I love it a lot!
I'm glad I saw this video! I have been stuck on whether to get a screen tablet for my PC, or get something like an iPad, and with a cheaper option like this I feel like eventually I'd be able to do both :) I think I' definitely go for this first though, since it's so portable.
So pretty much there is a stabilizer for your lines on Ibis paint if you don't have your glove, it's at the top right it's a finger like, drawing. Just thought I would tell you about that :3
Finally! I live in the uk and it costs £180, one of my biggest dreams is to become a successful manga artsit, i have been planning and practicing for months and im definitely getting the Picasso tab, its cheap and the screen quality looks amazing 😁😁😁

I checked out the company's website, and I see they also recommend autodesk sketchbook. In case anyone's wondering, that's also a great program, and the upgraded version has screen recording like ProCreate. My existing tablet is just too old and crappy for the program, otherwise I'd be doing digital art all the time 😅

If your gonna use ibisPaint again there is a way to get your lines smoother. Press the pointing finger up in the right corner, then trun on the stabilazer!

Would you recommend something like this a portable drawing tablet (~$230) or a touchscreen display/monitor like a Huion Kamvas (~$300)? I like being able to draw anywhere especially when I get sudden inspiration, but at the same time I want to look at its maximum potential. So overall what would you say is better, or the pros/cons for each? I've been meaning to get into digital drawing for years and I've just never got around to it, but I really want to start.

I just finally got one of these and I really like it! I’m slowly getting the hang of things as I haven’t done any digital art in a while. Unfortunately, I can’t wear the glove as I’m apparently allergic to what it’s made of (I put it on and half my hand went numb and started having a bad reaction within a mere 30 seconds). So glad I stumbled upon this review! EDIT: I have found that a regular thin winter glove works as well, while the ones that are touch-screen compatible are best because you can still zoom in and out with your thumb and pointer finger.
I literally have wanted this as soon as i watched it. I told myself i would get it by the end of November. Its nearly the end of January ;-; Now its February TwT
I know this is late but about the glass with the pen being off, you can actually adjust that in ibis paint, it's in the settings where you can adjust everything about your pen.
Honestly I agree that tablet seems like good quality buta little bit wobbly when you do the lines of course I would like one that's why I entered and honestly I love your videos!
Btw if you didn’t know and if anyone reading this didn’t, IBIS has a stabilizer tool in the little spot where the finger is aka the touch settings on the canvas :D hope I could help or even a lil bit!

I have the Picasso tab and it’s really good. One thing I’d say is to make sure you don’t break your charger. Cause it’s kinda hard to find another one that will charge it. Other than that, I recommended buying this tablet because you can do anything on it as if it were a normal android tablet and draw to meet your artist needs.

I owned this tablet a couple of months ago. I would like to say a few things that I (personally) think are important to know. 1. It works extremely well, however runs out of space pretty quickly. This makes it shut off and can be quite the scare. You have to hold the power button for at least a minute to turn it back on. 2. The battery (if you use the tablet almost every day) will last a couple months. It will give off a really metally scent and may give you a headache. 3. Due to the price (very good price) it may come with some glitches or problems. PUT A MEMORY CARD IN HERE! I lost countless hours of work because mine had a charging defect and would not work with anything else. You can send it back, but you will probably get a new one that does not have a defect. If you have a memory card you can save your work :)) Edit: The screen cracked shortly after the tablet broke (it was 6 months old) so I could not send it back. This is my personal experience and will probably not happen to you. Have a good day and I hope this helps!!
@@OR3-O the pen comes with one battery and a replacement one. It is not rechargeable like other stylus pens. It will come with a charger but I think any charger that's the same size should work. Hope this helps :)

It's only because of your hands and not the application that makes your drawing lines stable. Change the stabilizer to 8 or 10, it will make your drawing line stable. Like drawing on paper. Sorry for bad grammar. I use google translate

I do not recommend this tablet if you’re going to use it long-term I have had two of them and they were out very quick they were very quality for the price though
I have IbisPaint and what you are saying with your lines being shaky, IbisPaint is a little sensitive and it sometimes will read the lines you draw as shaky. There is a thing that you can use to make youre lines straight, it wont draw the full length of the line but the line that you do draw should be straighter than when you dont use it

The price for this tablet very reasonable consider the cheapest Ipad cost $350 ish and another $100 if you want the pen.....
Valkyriao If you buy the ipad 6 from Walmart it’s only around $250
I have the Picasso tab and it’s really good. One thing I’d say is to make sure you don’t break your charger. Cause it’s kinda hard to find another one that will charge it. Other than that, I recommended buying this tablet because you can do anything on it as if it were a normal android tablet and draw to meet your artist needs.

5:06 There's a stabilization feature in ibis paint x,you just click in the Hand pointing at the right on the top,and then you'll see it.
IbisPaint has a stabilizer so your lines won't be shaky!

In inbs paint there's a hand pointing up (👆) You press it, put it to 10 and you'll have a straight line.
